Is it true that Adsense only approves 6 mth old site?

hi, i'd created a blog (Raising Boys) with blogger end May and been applying for Adsense. So far, i've tweeted my site and also been rejected 4 times. Each time it's always the same - Unacceptable site content:
1)must provide accurate personal inform
2)website must contain substantial, original conten.
3)site must comply with Google Adsense policies.
According to Gracey in Adsense help blog, she said Adsense will only approve 6 mth old site. Is it true? She even suggest to put some other ads while waiting for the site to become 6 month old. Pse advise.
