I'm so in love with long-tail keywords. I had to blog about them some more. I'd marry them if the wife would let me.

Seriously, if you're new to IM (or even old to it but not having much success), you need to learn about long-tail and embrace the concept. These are keywords that are typically 3-word phrases (or longer, sometimes a lot longer). Here's an example to illustrate the difference between 'short-tail', 'medium-tail', and 'long-tail' keywords in the same niche......

OK, I'm officially burned out for now on building new sites. I kinda knew it would happen, which is why I planned to do this over 6 months even though I was on track to finish in 5. No big deal. I'll get back to it in May at some point. Just need a breather.

But I'm not really capable of just stopping all IM work entirely. I guess I'm a junkie. So I signed up for Jeremy Kelsall's CPA Marketers Bootcamp (look in the WSO section) to learn what I could about this form of marketing....

I get asked a lot about alternatives to Adsense. I use Adsense on almost all of my sites (not the ones for which I sell products directly or where I have a dealer agreement with one vendor). And I love it. I remember what it was like before Adsense came along. It was really tough for newbies to earn any money from their sites. Adsense opened up a whole new world for a whole lot of people. I'll always think highly of Google for this reason alone.
