Does anyone use amazon for dropshipping their products, or for an ebay store, and use prime membership to get free shipping?

I find that there are items selling on ebay for a lot more than amazon, and if we can get free shipping, it would be even cheaper

Further I am looking for good and inexpensive drop-shipping companies, I am really still looking for right products and right suppliers, who can drop ship in USA. Have you any information over this, than kindly share it with me.

Best Regards,
Zaheera

It's against their terms of service. If you ship to a bunch of different addresses, Amazon will figure out what you're doing pretty quick and cancel your account.

Amazon does not want to be used as a dropshipper, unless you warehouse your products with them directly.

You cannot use Prime to dropship products to your customers. Amazon doesn't allow it. You can try it, but once they see what you are doing, they will close your account.

A better option would be to use Amazon's FBA program, and fullfill your orders from FBA, its called multi-channel fulfillment. They will store your inventory and ship your orders.

As a full-time seller on both Amazon and Ebay (for over 5 years) I am very familiar with selling on both.

I would also suggest subscribing to Skip McGrath's newsletter:

It has tons of useful info, its free, and he shares wholesale/dropshipping companies in every issue.

What's great is that most of the back issues are also available, so you can find a lot of wholesalers/dropshippers that way. I did some research recently and found several companies that way.

Although I did research, I mostly sell used items. This company:
    DVA.com
does new media and they do dropshipping so you might want to check them out.

    Zaheera,

I'm not promoting my ebook but, unless you have a US company along with seller's licence or EIN you will not be able to do business with any legitimate wholesaler/manufacturer/distributor.

Legitimate companies require you to have a company/EIN so that they can legally sell you the goods without having to charge you the sales tax.

That is correct only in US. You can order products from China as individual person even from manufacturers.

        True, perhaps.

But if you going to be doing dropshipping to US customers I would strongly recomment that you deal with American-based distributors and wholesalers.

You're going to suffer a whole lot of grief trying to dropship items from companies outside the US.

For one thing there's the time delay. In my experience customers expect their order to arrive next day? Of course we know this isn;t going to happen but bear in mind, with online retail customers do expect tor receive good quickly. Importing from overseas takes longer and the time-lag from ordering to receiving the goods is going to annoy most of your US customers.

Also, you'll be importing goods from outside the US and therefore you are going to experience problems with US customs. While this could be manageable when ordering large amounts of goods, dealing with issue like this on an order-by-order basis is a recipe for disaster.

    Hi

I have read ways of doing this (drop shipping to eBay) with other online discount retailers like Overstock. Especially when they are set up to allow a payee contact/address and a different shipping address.

Others have said above it is against Amazon's ToS, but you are simply buying from Amazon as a retail customer- you do not have an affiliate or seller account relationship. So if they wanted to "ban you", they would simply be stopping sales to your email address or credit card, not killing an associate account.

I'm not sure if Amazon tells simple buying clients, "we won't sell to your credit card", but maybe they do.
