How to Promote an Affiliate Program

I just launched my affiliate program at Affiliate Program . I have marketed other people's affiliate products in the past, but have no idea how to promote my own affiliate program.

Any suggestions?

Because you are running your own affiliate program instead of going through a network like Shareasale or CJ, you will have to do more leg work. First, you can do an Advertisement on Abestweb which is an affiliate marketing network. I would also go to forums in your niche and make yourself known. You might be able to buy an advertisement on their site to advertise your affiliate program. I would love to hear other ideas.

overall the bigger networks are easier to "jumpstart" things. But in all honesty many of them suck. I can say that from experience. I've had one on one meeting with many of the Affiliate big wigs, and really that are just digital pimps.

Yeah, he could pay for those overpriced ads on the network, but once again ..it's a waste.

The end all result driven method is to cold call potential site owners that may be of interest in making some money with your products.
