The Step-By-Step Link Building guide was a product I created in September of last year. It is a guide on how to build quality links to your website; helping you get more traffic from the Google, Yahoo, and MSN search engines. It is a professional 16 page guide (took me 5+ years of marketing experience to gain enough information to write it), in .pdf format.


I launched the product in September '08 as I mentioned above, and in a 2 month period received 82 orders @ the price of $27, for a net profit of $2,214. I was using the same sales letter as the one currently at stepbysteplinks.com; I simply expanded it to fit the website.


The sales copy converted visitors at just over 4%. I turned my attention then to a bigger project, and forgot about it until about a month ago. Last month, I upped the price to $47 to increase profits, and the website sales copy converted at 2.4%; thus the $47 is a much more profitable price. The new owner might want to try testing an even higher price and see if it increases profits.


I recently created graphics and reworked the sales copy to justify the new $47 price; and created a full website for the product. The site is Clickbank ready, and I have a professional marketing plan to help the new owner market the website effectively. The guide and copy have proven that they are effective at converting visitors into customers.

I currently have a few larger projects in the works, as well as a multitude of smaller websites to manage; and simply don't have the time to run this project.
