Okay so here is the deal.... I have a few websites that I am looking to get rid of quite quickly. Including one major site that is generating about $40/month through adsense alone and is ranking all over Google. (APPARENTLY I NEVER GOT AROUND TO TRACKING THIS SITE THROUGH GOOGLE ANALYTICS) CollectorCarInsuranceBlog.com PAGE RANK: 3 Registered: April 19th, 2009 Asking Price: $3,500 (Taking VERY Serious Offers)  I wanted to make a note about this site before I listed all the details on it. Currently this site is generating about $40 per month with adsense. I can provide necessary screen shots of earning proof as well as the anayltics of the site if needed. The site design was a template that was customized by myself to include space for proper ad placement. I have a list of about 12-15 keywords that you will see below and this site is ranking at least somewhere in the top 200 for each of those keywords as well as on the first page of Google for some of those keywords. The site is VERY informative and has over 50 UNIQUE articles on it. I recently experimented with a clickbank product and while I have no reasults from this, I have not heavily promoted the product aside from posting it to my blog not too long ago. I invested over $1000 in this site in terms of building it, doing major SEO operations, and having articles written for it. I have used various link bomb techniques as well as Angela's and Pauls back links on the first two. With the last site taking up most of my time I haven't done THAT much for them.
Just so you know those are on Hostgator and I've had issues transferring from hostgator in the past so the buyer would have to be patient with me as I figured out exactly transferring works. As far as the last one its hosted on Godaddy and that is generally easy to transfer from. AND if you really want to the last site, I AM taking offers for a little while so let me know how much you could afford to pay for it and I'll consider it

Surely your asking price is a joke. why would anybody pay 3500 for a site that makes 40 dollars when it would take 5 years to recoup that investment. I think your real price is about 1/10 of that. the rule is that you never pay more than 10 times the earning a site makes per month.

Considering I've spent $1000 on this site in total over the period of four months, I would like to get at least $1,500 for it, but of course I do believe it is fairly priced at $3,500 because this site has the potential to make a large amount of cash for someone who wants to monetize it with clickbank, amazon affiliates and other ad networks as well as selling links on it. I pitch in a little...
I thought that $3500 is really too high. Typically, a website should be sold for 6-12 months of their income. Things like "Potential", "amount spent" on the website contributes little to the selling price. Seriously, I don't really think you can get it sold for $3500. But then, I could be wrong. Perhaps the best way for you to sell is to offer it in Flippa and see if you can sell it for $3500. Maybe you can get it for more than $3500?

Okay then, I guess, I'm marketing the site to the wrong set of people. I figured its rankings on google at least would tempt somebody to put in the extra hours of work to get it generating at least $100/mo. However, it looks like I was wrong, I am seriously considering putting in those extra hours myself but seeing as I have no $$$ to get articles written or anything, everything is at a standstill. Hence why I wanted to sell it and start over in another niche but, seriously speaking, the site is ONLY worth $240-$480......thats great. just great. SO I need it earning about $100/mo to make my money back.....might just have to bite the bullet and write the articles myself.

Thank! YES MY SITES ARE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE.........
They require little work to amp up the performance! I did a simple link wheel using Tariq's service and BAM! $70/month. I only paid $78 for Tariq's service and well it looks like I'm gonna earn that investment 12 times over. I'm also ranking for many more terms now. ANY WAY IF YOU READ THE THREAD.... I Took the site down for sale.... INFACT IF SOMEONE COULD CLOSE THIS THREAD... That'd be nice! |
