I'm looking to rehome a niche blog - Cats Cancer. Click here to view the site live.

The reason I'm rehoming it is that this site is not part of my long term business plan. With two children to homeschool and a part time job, I need to spend my time on other things. I'm happy to let the market decide what it's worth, so feel free to pm me or reply on this thread if you're interested in it.

Here's what comes with this site:

1. Domain. The domain is registered with namecheap, so an easy push to the buyer. It's due for renewal in September 2009. According to the google keyword tool, there are over 12,000 searches for cats cancer each month.

2. Wordpress blog - you know how easy it is to add new content to a WP blog. The site is set up with a premium Wordpress theme, and has a custom header that will never be used again. This site is 3 months old, and the sitemap has been submitted to Google, the privacy policy has been set up, and the site has already been indexed. The RSS feed has been submitted to directories, and posts have been submitted to the top ten social bookmarking sites.

Videos have been integrated into the site to encourage your visitors to stay longer.

A gmail email address has been set up for this site - catscancer@gmail.com

3. Monetisation

Clickbank Integration One of the best clickbank products in the pet niche has been integrated into this site. The Veterinary Secrets Revealed sales page specifically mentions beating the odds of cancer.

Inbuilt Amazon Store Earn up to 15% in referrals from Amazon products. This Astore has been stocked full of relevant products, and you can add more categories and products if you wish.

Google Adsense Google adsense has been added to the sidebar, and to the bottom of each post. Adsense earnings will only be realised if you have an Adsense account, or you successfully apply for one. It's free to apply and you are very likely to be approved, although it's not guaranteed.

Affiliate Product People are looking for natural therapies for their pets. Over 40% of people have sought natural therapies for their animal. You have an affiliate link for Holistic Info on the sidebar, so you can earn 10% commission on any sales referred from this site. There is also a link for Pet Wellbeing. This affiliate program requires you to have or create a shareasale account. That's not difficult.

Just Answer box This allows people to ask a question of a veterinarian any time of the day or night. When they pay for their answer, you'll receive a commission.

4. Unique content

14 keyword rich blog posts, each with a stock image with legal rights. I've also recently written a 10 page report on the use of natural therapies in cats, which you can offer as a free download to build your list. People are always willing to spend money on their animals, so this could be a very profitable list.

I'm happy to offer a discount on my usual rates for any future blog posts if the buyer needs content for the site. I'm a veterinarian and have treated many types of cancer in cats and dogs.

5. Traffic and Monetisation

If you search for the term cats cancer without quotes, the site is currently on page 2 of Google with 21 million competing sites, after doing a bit of a dance recently. Yesterday it was on page 1 and has been as high as 5th position on page 1. It's in position 4 of page 1 on yahoo with 37 million competing sites, and in position 1 of page 1 on Bing with 18 million competing sites.

The site is getting around 600 visitors a month. I've done some promotion through forum marketing, blog commenting, social bookmarking and have participated in a cat niche blog carnival for backlinks.

It has earned $5 per month in Adsense income for the last two months.

6. Pen Name

I've been using a pen name when I've done site promotion, and you can either keep using it or not bother with it. I did this because the internet is a small place, and I still work in private practice. I had a lady contact me through my writing website to rewrite her ebook - it turns out to be a lady I knew many years ago, and she lives half an hour away from me!
