I have to be careful how I reply to this, because the question you ask is a hotly debated topic in these forums (as are all things involving Google's algorithmic voodoo), and I by no means claim to have the last word on it. Some people believe unique content is important, some don't think it matters much at all. Ask 10 and you'll get 10 different opinions. But regardless of what position you take on this point, it is worth remembering that there are many factors involved in getting a good ranking, not the least of which are keyword density, title/meta tags, and links. In my own experience, links in particular are far more important than unique content.

Anyway, in case I can swing it, my question is how are you generating auto-updating content? I know that WP Direct offers that service, depending on what tier of membership a person has...Wasn't sure if you are using a similar service, or some combination of WP plugins, etc...?

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the compliment. I did a lot of research to come up with a combination of WP plugins that would continuously update with the high quality content I wanted, but not come at any additional cost. So I'm pleased to say "no membership required" to own one of my sites. All an owner has to do is become an affiliate of the vendors.

I think we're just dealing with some busy professional clients who haven't had time to come back and post comments yet. I was impressed with the look of your sample sites -very nice! As a newbie, I am often surprised by what I don't know. Could you send me a PM with a list of things I would need to have ready before submitting a request for your services. Getting the domain name is easy, setting up the affiliates is new for me. I have a dozen or so domains I would like to go live but want to be sure I can pull the parts together before diving into the pool.

Thank you very much for your question. I would not even suggest, let alone guarantee, that the website we design for you will make money without advertising or traffic. That is not something I claim at all. It would be the equivalent of saying I will sell you a shoe store and guarantee you will make money even if you have no customers, or make no efforts to let anyone know you are selling shoes. The very idea is impossible.

To the contrary, what you should expect is a beautiful, fully automated website that will maintain itself, and thereby free up your time to focus on the marketing. No website that I am aware of can make money without efforts to make sure it receives traffic, and getting traffic to your website(s) is what most of the discussions here in WF are about. If you decide that you would like an affiliate niche website to focus your marketing efforts on, I'm sure I can help you.
