Up for sale is an AdSense site that I made a few years back (domain originally registered in 2007, but for some reason the WHOIS search says it was registered in early 2008). It is in the health/diet/fitness niche.

I basically set it up and never did anything with it. It brings in about $20/month (on average) in AdSense revenue, but the best part - that I never did anything with - is the mailing list it builds.

I made a free eBook to go along with it (completely original, very nice looking, lots of good information) and have people opt in to receive it. I get, on average, about 3 opt-ins a day, sometimes more. I never built an autoresponder series, though, so these people have opted-in, received their free eBook... and then never heard from me again. Build a nice autoresponder series with affiliate products - even physical products, like protein powders and other supplements - and you could probably bank a LOT off this list. I just never did anything with it. (If there's a way to transfer a mailing list in Aweber from one account to another, you can have all of them, but I'll warn you: they're all cold since some have been on there for almost a year and never heard from me, other than the free eBook they were sent. It might be better to start building from scratch with an autoresponder series, since the list does get built pretty fast.)

I have done ALMOST NO backlink building for this site, and it has ranked on page 1 of Google for its keyphrase for the past two or three years. Build some backlinks for it and I can almost guarantee it will shoot to the very top of the results.

The site currently gets anywhere from 800 to 1,200 hits a month - and, again, with backlink building it will shoot higher in Google and get anywhere up to around 2,000 or more hits a month based on the keyword it's listed for.

As you can see - the site is FULLY built (complete with an original eBook that you will get full rights to), it makes a little bit of money, and has the potential to make a TON of money - it will just require a little bit of work on your part.

I focused on the keyword "protein shake recipes" and that is what it ranks for, and what brings in the majority of its traffic.

I am looking to sell the site for $350. It has pulled in a consistent average of $20/month for a while now in AdSense revenue, and comes with a well-designed eBook with full rights passed on to you. With a little bit of work, this site could likely pull in that much in a month, if not more.

Hi google's page rank tool ays its not rank the home page.... I would of expected to see at least a 0/10.... Is the site sandboxed?

Thanks for the question! No, it is definitely not sandboxed. I have done maybe five or six backlinks for it (can't even remember) and wrote a couple EzineArticles for it a couple years ago. Other than that, it has ranked naturally for the term "protein shake recipes" (where it gets almost all of its traffic from) for almost two years now. It gets almost all of its traffic from Google - to this day - so there's no sandboxing going on.

Also, I just did a PR check on http://proteinshakerecipes. net and it comes up with a PR of 0. You may have accidentally done a PR check on http://proteinshakerecipes. net/newsite, where the main page redirects to - this does not affect its rankings in Google at all, as Google recognizes /newsite as the main index.

So to answer your question: do a search for protein shake recipes and you'll see my site rank in the first page of results, at least in the USA.

I have a couple of questions.

When I first looked at your listing I clicked through on your link and it was just protein shake recipes dot net not /newsite. Why have you done this?

I checked the 'wayback' records and webpages for the site only show up from March 2008 to July 2008, there is nothing prior to or after that. Can you explain that?

Could you please supply traffic stats and revenue proof that clearly shows protein shake recipes as the stats you are giving us could be from any site?

When you go to http://proteinshakerecipes. net, it will redirect you to http://proteinshakerecipes .net/newsite. This is because I tested setting up a new site with a different design and new features about eight months ago, and put it under the "newsite" directory on my server. When I found I liked the "newsite" design better than the original, I realized I didn't know how to move the folder down to replace the old WordPress setup! I simply changed / to redirect to /newsite in my .htaccess file. There is an older design sitting on an older WordPress installation on the root folder, but it is inaccessible due to the .htaccess file. This does not appear to make a difference with Google.

(Re-reading your question, I think you're saying the first time you went to the site, it took you to http://proteinshakerecipes .net, and not http://proteinshakerecipes .net/newsite? I think you may have just overlooked the /newsite in your browser. As you can see in the Analytics screenshot below, all traffic leads to /newsite, and the root folder contains an older design that, as far as I know, is inaccessible.)

I edited my original post - I have misspoken, and the domain was originally registered in early 2007, not 2006. (I dug through my old e-mails to find the original registration e-mail.) I apologize for the error. I think I did something wrong when re-registering the site and it now shows as being registered 1/23/08, so I guess my original registration date doesn't make much of a difference. As for the wayback machine - I can't explain why it never indexed the site until March 2008, or why it wouldn't have it past July 2008. I'm not sure how their indexing algorithm works. The site, however, has never been down, and with the newer design I made for it about eight months ago, it has pulled in about $20/month on average consistently.

I am actually not sure how to show AdSense earnings that show just proteinshakerecipes.net? If someone could please tell me how to do this, I would be happy to show its earnings. However, you can see from the Analytics screenshot that the site has had 11,678 page views since July and my earnings proof screenshot from last night shows 9,555 ad impressions. Not sure why AdSense impressions are lower than the total number of pageviews, but either way, that should clear up that the AdSense shot I gave is specifically for proteinshakerecipes .net. However, like I said, if someone can show me how to make an AdSense screenshot that shows all clicks that originated from just proteinshakerecipes.net, I would be happy to do so!
