Hi Jay,

A couple of questions if I may:

1) How easy is it to update the blog with the buyers affiliate details? By that I mean is it very time consuming? 30 mins, an hour, two hours, more?

2) Is the site already 'loaded' and ready to go except for the affiliate/adsense details that need to be updated? (i.e. Do the articles need to be individually loaded, or is that all part of the deal when the theme is installed.)

I already own a valentine's day site, but I'm not happy with it visually.

This may be a good way to update it, but I don't want to spend hours preparing it.

The details that need to be changed are Adsense, eBay store, and the 125x125 ads.

Both Adsense and 125x125 ads can be changed from the Wordpress admin theme options very easily (no need to open any php files or edit any theme code etc. )

The eBay store details are simple as well and can also be edited from the store's plugin page inside Wordpress admin.

Details on how to do this are included in the guide that comes with the package.

Everyone has different experience levels, but even if you are new it shouldn't take too long to change affiliate/adsense codes.

Put it this way, it takes me longer to set up the new ad blocks in my Adsense account than it does to add them to the site. My guide shows you where to paste the code, and that's all you have to do.

Actual time in minutes?

I don't want you to throw tomatoes at me if it takes you a bit longer, but I would say it shouldn't take you longer than 30-60 minutes to change the affiliate/ads details once the site is installed. (and that's including grabbing the info from your accounts, sipping coffee, taking a minute to post a nice comment on my thread, etc.)

If you are putting this on a new host/domain , then yes it is already "loaded" Basically, you are transferring a database that has ALL the details/content intact, just like you see it in the demo. The guide also walks you through the installation process. However, if you didn't want to do the installation yourself, you will receive the details on how to order installation from me in your email receipt.

Installation isn't a long process either, but some people are intimidated by it if they have never done it before. However, my guide is very detailed and newbie-friendly if it's something you wanted to do yourself.

NOTE If you already have a site with content that you want to keep though, I would suggest not transferring the database. Just upload the theme, plugins, and then add the 10 articles manually. Still, adding the articles manually is only an extra 20-30 minutes.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Also, I'm just an email away after you buy the package if you run into a snag.

Hopefully its still available by the time you read this. I am a amazon affiliate and i have amazon plugin I would like to use instead of ebay. Reviewazon and Amaniche plugins are the two I have. Would it be ok too use them on the blog? Can the back ground be change as well?

Hey Joseph,

Thanks for your interest. Sure, you can add the Reviewazon plugin. You can use any plugin you like, the same as any other blog. Removing the eBay store is as easy as deactivating the plugin and and adding new code/info to the store page, or simply delete the store page all together if you don't need it.

You can also change the background and any other elements you choose.

..and yes, I got this in time..there's still ONE left!

How is everyone going with their blogs?

Mine is up and running, and has been for days. I'm extremely happy with it.

I paid Jay to install it, and he's been fantastic. I can't fault anything he's done, and it's all been done in a very timely manner. I'll certainly buy from him again should the right blog/niche become available.

All that said, rather than bother Jay again, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to change the link colour (in the posts) to blue. They are black which means people can't see them unless they hover over the link.

Everyone would have encountered this issue, and maybe someone has sorted it out?

Don't worry about contacting me to ask questions.

I had probably left it black without noticing because I don't create any links in the articles (that'd be more hassle for you guys to edit/remove them)

You probably won't want to change the "main link color" for the whole theme because there are areas where it looks good black.

However, you can easily specify the link color for just the posts by doing the following:

Inside your theme folder, open up "/styles/default.css"

Add this to the code:

 color: #cc0000;
}

If you need anything else, just let me know

Does it matter where that code is added? I don't want the same thing to happen that I caused before.

I like to link to resources etc from articles, which is the reason I need the links.

I want to say how pleased I am with the blog, Jay. I've already made more from Adsense via the new blog, than I did in the previous twelve months on my original site.

I'm not saying I've made a fortune, but I'm now getting clicks, I didn't before. (No idea why - I followed all the placement advice.)

Jay is a dream to work with, and has been incredibly patient with me. I am used to blog admin, and know my way around 'normal' blogs, but this one is way different. Yes, it's a learning curve, but one that I know will ultimately make a huge difference to my income.

Yes, you can add that code anywhere as long as it doesn't interfere with the other styles. So, let's say I stuck it in between the first two styles at the top of the default.css file, it would look like this:
