Hello Createrk,

I love the website, but one of my main concerns in that when I went to google and type in a keyword for some of the swords on the site, It came back with a list of other sellers that all seem to be selling these swords at a very low price compared to this site.

I did this with many items on the website. I know that when it comes to e-commerce stores that people are looking for a low price for a item/items and are not really wanting to pay the retail price in which this sites is listing its items as.

To me, i would think that it would really be hard to sale items with the other sites blowing me out the water with prices.

Again, i love the site but would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Regarding your query on the price of the swords, i have kept the marked up price at around 50-75% which is a huge margin. Also the supplier provides the retail price and thats wat you see in the website.

Ideally when you rank the site for the keywords (that i am going to provide to the winning bidder), the sale will surely shoot up even though the price is somewhat high.

With my experience, people have started to look around for quality rather than quantity, and when a site is ranked wel in google (With stunning site like mine ) obviously price wont be a factor and people to tend to go for it. This is my opinion.

Alternatively, if you want to keep the price low, we can do that as well which will bring down the profit margin. The markup price can be given as 25% in that case.

So you're using an open source shopping cart and have no traffic or revenue. What exactly is it that you are selling besides the design then? I'm not trying to be rude, but my opinion is that you are WAY over-pricing this. Not only that, but you don't seem to understand business very well if you don't think that people will compare prices and shop around.

On a more positive note, the design is very nice.

Well would like to let you know that, you wont get a site like this for $450 leave rest the traffic and revenue.

I am not sure whether you are in the game or not, a ecommerce site developed in OScommerce (One of the old opensource software) cant be obtained for less than $1000. I am sure they are people that do for pennies, but you get what you pay for!!

My site is developled in Prestashop, a very powefull and it has tons of features. Backend is immaculate with loads of features with SEO friendly featured in it.

Also on your query on people searching around for lowest prices, yes it is true to some extent but not completely correct. People search for quality and when you build a quality site like mine, you get trust automatically and the products do convert. This is my personal experince and i can show proof of my other ecommerce site doing well. But as said, you can always reduce the profit margin and can sell less as well
