| Not yet. The domain name was registered this past Saturday (2/13) and I launched the site live this past Tuesday (2/16) after completing it. I just started to do a little promoting on youtube and some other "Lost" based fan forums to drive it a bit of traffic, but my skills are better suited in building profitable websites and flipping them, rather then promoting them. Like any brand new website, some SEO work will be needed. However all this type of work can be outsourced if you prefer. I can recommend a great company who's prices are really cheap and their work is astronomical!! Bottom line: People on CPAlead are making a killing with sites just like this. Most are averaging $100/per day or more. If you have the skills to do the SEO work and get your site rankrd high on Google, Yahoo, or other major search engines, this site will make you a killing. |

Hi mate When you're researching your keywords, and your rankings, here's what you're looking for - When you search google for "all seasons lost" you will show up in the top 10 because; 1. There are no other sites competing with you of any note: allintitle: "all seasons lost" - Google Search So in fact only 8 other sites have optimised for that. 2. There are not 22 million people searching that term, that is the number of pages Google has indexed for that term (sites that have those related words on them) hope this helps! |

Thats funny, google keyword tool says that absolutely no one searches this keyword. By the way 21,900,000 are the sites which contain the keywords, not people searching! Its a nice looking site though! |

Where are you getting your search volume numbers from? None of the tools I used came anywhere near the numbers you are quoting. Ok question answered, pages not searches. Anyway I am coming up with about 2400 a month for all seasons lost as a search term. |

Yep, nice looking site! Best thing I could advise, is to go over to SuperSimpleBlogging and learn some keyword research - and try to implement the techniques into the CMS you are using |

Very nice looking site. Nice work. I have some interest in this site, however, I wonder how long term the profitability can be on a series like this. Very hot now and until season ends but then what?? It may not have the staying power of some other sitcom type series. Just a query. Fins22 |

If using photos found online pertaining to the TV series "lost" was a legal issue, then how do you explain sites like these: LOSTTalk.net LOST Forum Watch Lost Season 6 Episode 1 Free Premiere Stream Here | Watch Lost Season 6 Lost Season 6 Download Lost Episodes | Watch Lost Season, Episode Now ? Edogo.Com Watch Lost Online | Watch full Lost Episodes Online You stated: "find out what most websites like yours do instead to stay clear of that warning." -I would say that most websites do exactly the same thing as mine, don't you think!

if you claim that you can make that much money and everything can be outsource? then why dont you just do it yourself to monetize on this campaign?

@ kendimann I am only interested in building sites and flipping them for profit. I haven't claimed any profit on this site yet. The income in the title of this thread merely states what your possibilities are. Anyone who is involved in cpalead.com's network knows that the amounts stated in this title are just a small fraction of what can actually be made per month using the content gateway blocker. However, I haven't done much as far as advertising for the site. Just a few uploads on youtube and posting my link on some fan forums, and as of now (Friday 2/19 at 1:50am) I have earned a total of $10.61. Not much I know, but at least it will give you an idea of what can be made with the proper SEO and/or PPC campaign. |

Great looking site. The starter packs.... great idea! I'll start the bid off at $300. Couple of questions though. With the content blocker, are you able to adjust the setting with that. For example; letting them watch some of the episode before locking it? Kind of like cable used to do with payperview sports and movies. And also, do you build other types of sites? I am looking for someone to build me a Wordpress site based on a certain niche I feel will do very well, and I like your style. -CK |

@ Captain Kangaroo Thank you for starting the bid off. To answer your questions, yes the content blocker is fully customizable. You can set a teaser time anywhere from 1 second to a few hours if you wanted. And yes I do build other websites. I have sent you a PM with my contact details so we can talk more. |

| Can you explain what's illegal about it! All the episodes are streamed from a different website that has rights to the content. Nothing is hosted on my server. If this was illegal then why does the site I get them from offer embed codes? The pictures I'm not 100% sure about, however I see the same damn pictures I'm using on every other site out there like mine. So if there are any legal issues with the pictures, there apparently not big enough to cause any problems. I would really appreciate your input on how my site is not even remotely legal |

It is against the TOS of any site that offers licensed video content for another site to embed there videos on your site for the sole purpose of generating revenue or building a business. Just stating the facts. nice site anyway good luck.

| My site copies the same concepts and routine as every other Movie site, TV series site or site like wise. If it is illegal, and I am not saying it isn't, but if it is, it must not be a big enough concern otherwise all these sites like mine would be taken down.... and last time I looked, they were all still up running, making the owners a crap load of money.

I am not saying you can't make money with them. It is just a short lived game......what happens is these sites providing the embedded content find these sites in time and see that your embedding there content for the sole purpose of financial gain then all they do is block your domain and IP and down goes all your content......then what do you have? a dead site with a bunch of broken links. All i am saying is that these type of sites are popping up faster then i can type this reply and put up for sale with price tags of thousands with titles "This Site Can Make You Thousands Maybe Millions" when in fact the sellers of these types of sites cannot even show valid proof of this type of revenue generation but want outrageous prices. I have been keeping a close eye on these types of sites being mass produced and placed up for sale on here and many other website selling sites as i was thinking of getting in the market. But after my observation i can tell you the number of sites i have seen go up for sale in 30 days is over 75. So there might have been money to be made with this type of site "But I Highly Doubt It These Days". I am thinking outside the box as an end user on this one........ Why would i fill out "any kind of offer" to watch a show that is free to watch on hundreds maybe even thousands of other sites. I am not going to go posting links here just out of respect for your thread..... but really if this method truly works...... then for once i would like to see one seller selling this type of site show some valid proof or even be able to say that they make or have made the money they claim "These Sites Can Make". Can you see where i am hesitant to buy here? More then 75 sites in this niche in the last 30 days and the story is the same everywhere "You Can Make 1k, 2k a Month" and when asked the answer is the same across the board and never a dime made with the site before the sale. If the domain and IP were banned from the external site you embed the shows from then how would this site make any money?

Hi You are saying that because other sites illegally use copyrighted images to promote their stuff, then it's OK for you to follow suit. I say that screws your offering. It's polluted. And I wouldn't touch it. I also disagree with the old, old cop-out of "Others do it and get away with it, so I'll do the same". It's illegal and flies in the face of honest competition. That you are still willing to sell this to Warriors makes me sad, because the design of the site is excellent; it's the poxy law flouting that wrecks it, in my eyes. EDIT: Surely the CPA company can supply legal images for this? Richard

| Look everyone, This site was my 1st attempt at flipping. I guess I should of learned more about the legality's of the site and sites like mine before I decided to build it and post it here on the Forum With that being said, I'm not trying to sell this site anymore. How the heck could I after all that's been said about it. But,I've also decided I'm not taking this post down yet either! I will admit, I was getting pretty frustrated at first by all the people pointing out the legality issues of the site, but then it dawned on me. These people aren't out to mock and trash talk my thread/site, they are here to help, and give advise, and maybe I should start listening. After all, almost everyone who pointed out my sites legal issues also pointed out how its a great looking site. Cause of you guys I now know what things to avoid in the future while building a website. And knowing my design skills are of good quality, I know I will have better luck next time when I return to this section of the forum to post my latest creation. Anyway, bottom line is, I paid $20 bucks to post this thread on here and since this site wont be sold to anyone now, I want to make my moneys worth. So I'm asking that instead of people offering bids on my site, they keep offering advise like they have been. Thanks guys. Oh and by the way, Yes I did contact Captain Kangaroo and told him the site was no longer up for bid. |

lol...they brow beat you to the point of submission SeanyD huh? Look...great looking site you've done with the honest intent to sell to help someone else make money from it.... I guess they're biggest issues are with legality....something that is a certain niche (lost the episodes) could be wiped out in no time flat....do I think that will happen? In my very lowly, lowly humble opinion I would say no. It would have to be generating a lot of money for someone to come after you....however, it's just an opinion. And...yes, its LOTS of sites like this popping up and maybe its a dime a dozen...who knows? I would suggest you talk to the other umpteen people that created movie/tv sites like this and get thoughts from them. Because in actuality....some people are gonna love them and some are gonna hate em....it comes with the territory.... Good luck with your sites and your venture here on WF. So far for me...its been pretty fun! GODSPEED Brik |

| @ brik2500 Yes, beaten to a submission is a great way to put it lol. It was for the better I believe though. I have learned a lot from what people have said and I thank you for the advise you have given me as well. @ Cash37 Once again, another thing I did not know when creating my post. I guess affiliate links are somewhat frowned upon when posting a site for sale. Something I will avoid now in the future. I really appreciate all the advise and feed back I have gotten so far guys. Please keep it coming as I am learning a great deal about the proper way things should be done. |
