Selling of my Reality TV Niche Blogs and Websites

Hello everyone. I have been told by my CEO (my wife) that I need to get rid of my websites.

*sigh*

However, I think I have built them up to where they are at a place that some blogger could come along and monetize them and turn a nice profit.

All have great rankings for their names...most have a mailing list and most have a corresponding Twitter account.

Here they are in no particular order.

I am open to any and all offers. I know in my head they are worth a TON but because of my current situation everything is negotiable. I will give traffic and earning information to serious buyers.

I am not SELLING my email lists seperately. They are included in as part of the domain and blog. They help to show readership and potential money that can be earned in this niche.

Currently my Big Brother set of sites makes about 2000 to 3000 when promoting the Live Feeds via RealPlayer so those sites are still valuable with Big Brother 12 starting in July. With my assistance, anyone who purchased these sites should be able to make something from CJ.com and from Google Adsense.

I would like to transition the domains out of my GoDaddy account and hosting can be arranged if needed.

Looking forward to chatting with you about these sites. I do not want to see them go but if you are interested in blogging then this may be a good opportunity for you.

Hey SEOPoints...

Collectively so far in 2010 they have been $200 or so in Google Adsense only. That has been my only method of making money from these blogs.

The main sites that make money are the Big Brother sites...(mainly the blog). Between Adsense and Commission Junction (specifically Real Player affiliate program) that is where I have made close to $3000 per year. This is seasonal. July through September since that is when the TV show is on.

CBS is having a Big Brother 12 so there is opportunity for someone to buy and use these sites to make money.

I am currently ranked #1 out of 41,500,000 for the search term Big Brother Blog and this blog gets thousands of hits daily during the show. (July through Sept.)

I am attaching the main keyword and CURRENT search results.

I am all ready targeting the keywords Big Brother 12 and Big Brother 12 blog for the upcoming season.

I will also attach traffic stats from last summer.

Stats include...

Current month - March 2010
Past 3 months - Jan 2010 through March 2010
Last year - 2009 (site was moved from one server to another in March 2009)
Best month of 2009 - August 2009 which is the middle month of the TV show Big Brother 11

What I have done for the past few years is blog when I wanted (if I actually watched the show) or I have hired/outsourced the content to others.

I have someone currently blogging for me on the American Idol Blog. 3 times a week
I have someone currently blogging for the Survivor blog.

The Amazing Race and Biggest Loser blogs have not had a blogger for a while. I have tried to blog for the Amazing Race but I keep getting behind so those are currently dormant.

SYTYCD blog is also one that I attempted so launch but I have not created much content for.

Big Brother 12 starts in roughly 100 days so I am going to post there today or tomorrow then I would say start ramping it back up come May/June with a countdown to the start of the new season.

All content is real and unique. Most from me or from some of the readers of the blog.

The comment section of Big Brother Blog and even some of the Survivor Blog posts get into the 100's. These blogs have a cult like following.

So these sites have not been automated...I am sure they could be...but I would not recommend that with these.

BB9 was great. We covered it and really enjoyed the "love" aspect of it.

Plus everyone STILL wants another WINTER edition!

I am sorry...I cannot accept your offer for all of them at only $500. I am set to make at least $3000 with the Big Brother websites once Big Brother 12 starts. Thanks for the offer but I need to try to get more for these sites.

are all your aweber lists in the same aweber account how do you plan to transfer those?

Thanks for the offer but again it is not in the range I need. I would rather hold on to them, deal with my wife not being happy, make my $$ during bb12 and then just sit on them and see if there is a bb13. I just cannot part with the big brother sites for $600. (just being honest)

The Aweber accounts would be tricky...however I would help transition them with the buyer. They are all in one account yes but we would have to transfer them to either another Aweber account or email them to resign in to continue to be a part of the blog.

Something that the person buying the sites and myself will work on.

I paid to list these sites and I am willing to sell them. I just hope I have proved that they are worth more than $600. I am looking for serious offers for this opportunity. I do apprciate the offers I have received but I know the big brother sites are worth more than $600.

Hey Duatiga,

The Big-Brother-Blog site and the Big-Brother-Chat site make about $20-40 bucks a month if I remember correctly on Google Adsense during the show. July, August and Sept. Currently they make a few bucks a month but they are not active since the show is not on. Most of the income is from being an affiliate of REAL Networks on CJ.COM.

The other blogs make a few bucks a month in Google adsense but not more than $20.
