Don’t be fooled by it’s simple, 1 page design - it converts at approx. 1% which means 1:100 visitors on average converts into a sale. Basically, every visitor that comes to the website is worth .25 net profit, which also gives you an idea on what you can pay for additional advertising.

Included in this sale is the Buy SPICE Gold? - Official News Story as well as our supplier, where you can also purchase SPIKE Gold (becoming the new, most popular brand) Fire ‘N Ice and a of course Pulse and a handful of others.

Margins:
$45.00 Sale, ($20, product, $1 shipping) = $24 Profit
$85.00 Sale, ($40 product, $1 shipping) = $44 Profit
$125.00 Sale. ($60 product, $1 shipping) = $64 Profit

We have an affiliate deal set up with Clear Detox which is a major advertiser in High Times magazine and they move a few hundred units every month. We’ve set up a deal where we’ll markup our products, and give them a commission, I just haven't signed the deal yet but they keep bugging me about it. I would suggest the buyer follow through with this offer because they are a mid-range player in this industry and the products marry-up nicely.

I am selling this business because I want to get out of the legal high industry, and move on to selling more information based products that don’t require stocking an inventory. It’s just a personal preference. And so I’m selling this asset, or small internet based business for cheap, only 5 months projected income. That means if you take the business as-is, and don’t do anything but ship orders you’ll earn your investment back in 5 months. If you actually work the site, add products, place ads, etc., the profits would increase exponentially obviously.

Management:
This is a 1 man show, extremely part time. About three times a week I hand address a USPS 1st Class envelope and stick .90 of postage on it and drop them in the mail on my way to college. Thus far, out of about 100 orders shipped I’ve gotten zero refund or return requests. People are very satisfied with this product.

The Legality:
Right now is the golden age for legal highs. This particular line or products is modeled after the THC molecule, and utilizes a man-made synthetic compound known as JWH-018. It is 100% undetectable in drug tests and there are no laws restricting it’s sell , possession or consumption in the United States or Canada. In fact, many local head shops sell these products from their retail locations.

The Market:
I would hope the buyer has some experience in market research/search engine positioning, for that’s how to really exploit this opportunity. I would suggestion repositioning for SPIKE GOLD (since spice gold isn’t being manufactured anymore) which is getting about 2,000 unique searches a month in the U.S. with very little competition. The best thing about this market Ive found is the loyalty and reorder rate. It’s like, once they buy from you and you delivery, you become their “dealer” or supplier. I’d say about 5% of my orders are reorders from the same person who started buying 1 packet to test the stuff out, loved it and now orders 2-3 packets at a time.

The Logistics/Inventory:
My supplier will only be shared with the buyer. Orders are placed in $600 lots, which last about a month before having to reorder. The math is quite simple, you pay 1/2 of what you charge the consumer for the product. Basic buy low/sell high business model here.

What could you do with an extra $500 a month for doing less than 3 hours of work? Well, that’s up to you. Overall, it’s an extra $6,000 a year cash-flow asset, which has a high probability of increasing in value (as opposed to diminishing in value like your car).

Yes, I'd have a few CA orders, but majority have all been U.S. based. A few orders from Korea from guys in the service (they can smoke it, won't show up on drug tests).

I just took a screen for all the transactions on SpiceSupply.net from last month, May 1 - June 1. It shows over $1200 in gross sales and 22 items shipped. My cost is roughly $25 per item (including shipping). Also, all my sales are organic, I'm paying $0 in advertising.

I've had two offers at $2500 so far, so if anyone wants to give me $3000 for it they can have it transferred today. I'm not in a big rush to sell this, because it's making me money in the mean time....

Also, the buyer should have $500 put aside for purchasing some initial inventory, the price of the site doesn't include any inventory.

Hi Halestorm,

Are you still marketing this in the US? Have you had any issues yet?

The reason I ask is that both Arkansas and Missouri (where I live) have just banned all synthetic compounds that have this effect similar to Marijuana. These bans are from the actual Congress & Lawmakers in each state.

Also, several other states are looking at banning it too. In a local news story here in Missouri, they mentioned that the Feds were starting to look at it closely as well.

Anyway, I was curious to see if you are still selling the product in the US and having any luck with it or if you have received any types of notices restricting sales in certain states now.
