Hey MJ,

Yes these sites were made using Google News' regulations. One additional thing you would need is a page that lists your authors.

Everything else is compliant.

There are auto posting plugins that you could use if you don't want to manually add content. The theme handles all of the images and thumbnails.

There isn't even a suggestion or hint that this Blog has anything to do with a registered Google News site! The haute costume sported by perception just in time for Halloween!! Just call me Lady Gaga, okay?

NewsFlash: Perception really struts itself well on the average - ugly - but YES, (major selling point) it really is a Registered Google News Site - for 3 months and current bid price yesterday was $1300 - UPDATE $3000 today!!! Here's what you get:

1 - complete autoblogging setup to work 24-7
2 - adsense ads collecting about $15/day
3 - no original content - it's written for you
4 - a prayer book you'll need for praying Google doesn't see it

Here's what you don't get:

1. the same Google News Site that was originally approved 3 months ago.
2. the editor and 3 different writers are not mentioned so they don't exist

4. Any future with Google News after you get busted for wrongness galore


I still believe you get what you pay for but it's always a good idea to double check to make sure. $37 to "start" your own....today is just like the heading says, a good "start" and that is exactly what you're paying for.

Oh, I almost forgot! Guess what else you DON'T GET if you decide to bid on the Registered Google News Site? The URL or even the subject or category of news.....it's all in the perception. Nobody except the WINNER will ever know what the URL is.

Who else wants to go make a bid or two on "Schmooze with Ben" - the name is nice, don't you think? Is that what it is? Is it all in the name? How is it that people willingly bid thousands of dollars in the blind for something that is not what it is supposed to be...if you can't SEE it does that mean it's not really there?

Unbelievable just a got new meaning today!! How much for 10 of these start up sites - Shhh I'm going to change my name and tell people to bid on them in the blind...you think it will work for me too? Very strange - I wonder if those bids all come from the same IP address!!! That would take the cake!! SO, how much for 10, did you say??

If by template you mean design, then yes you can. Google doesn't reject sites based on their template. They want news sites. If your site delivers quality news and follows all of their guidelines, you can get approved.

I don't know why Google approved news sites are kept so secret when the news and Press Releases are what these sites are reporting. Seems contradictory and I'm just not a big fan of that word. Truth is what I'm after and if it's controversial or embarassing when the light shines brighter than planned, go look in the mirror.

Jayo - I apologize for not making what I'm talking about clear so people can skim and comprehend the words they quickly read! Thank-you for taking the time to figure it out - 3 times - thanks!!! That's a problem I'm working on because I heard that enough times to know you're right.

Anyway if I've posted anything here that isn't appropriate, let me know and I'll remove it. Most people look at number of posts and how long you've been a member and all that and from what I've found, I'm here to say JAYO is the one you can trust and believe when it comes to Google News. The information in that webinar is what it is and I don't recommend ordering what he's selling or believing everything you hear the guy talking about. I don't think the interviewer did enough research because you can tell he's interested in finding out how to help people use Google News properly.


I wonder what the bidding is on that mystery, auto-blogging news site - high bid $3,000 yesterday - Still the same today... how much would you bid on a news website you've never seen from a "trust worthy" guy based on what? Past experience over-rides dates and numbers of any kind.
