Before we get too intimate, you may be thinking "If this is so easy, why haven't you done it!" Well cowboy or cowgirl, it's actually not that easy. In the early days of this blog, a lot of work was put into writing the unique content, creating the design, and building links. This blog has been a labor of love, since it was one of my first ventures in trying to make money online.


Over the year, I've come to the realization that I prefer other methods of online marketing. Blogging and SEO just isn't for me anymore. I consider this blog my "baby," and I hope it ends up with a caring, new owner. I'm selling because I'd rather have the cash for other projects. It makes no sense for me to hold onto a blog that isn't reaching its full potential because of my negligence.

If you want to make more money with this site every month, here's what you can do -


Write Posts - The absolute easiest way to make more money with this blog is to write more posts. You can pick any weight loss product, write a post (or more) about it, and it will get indexed immediately. Search Engines view this website as an authority! Repeat the process every few days, and within weeks you can double or triple the revenue. There are thousandsof weight loss products out there. There is no need to ever worry about running out of ideas on what to write about.


Hint: I like writing multiple posts about the same topic and keeping them in a "Series." This seems to benefit the blog's ability to rank for more long-tail keywords. Link back to the main "Series" page from within these posts to rank even higher for the short-tail keywords.


Build Links and Get Social - If you have a strong social media profile, like a StumbleUpon account, you can drive tons more traffic to the site. Social media is something I never pursued with this site, but if this is your expertise you can take advantage.


Hint: A lot of traffic to this site comes from squidoo. There are hundreds of people looking for home business opportunities every day there- an almost infinite supply. Yahoo Answers, Hubpages and Squidoo are way up there in terms of traffic with millions of users. And the users like to buy! 1) Write a few articles on any weight loss, home business opportunity, or product topic. 2) Go to Yahoo Answers and provide helpful answers, and every once in a while sneak a link back to your site. Do not be overly aggressive and you will see massive traffic, especially if you get voted as "Best Answer." This method can be automated or outsourced too.


Link Sales - I've been offered $50+ (per month) multiple times to place others advertisements or share links. I've never taken anyone up on this, because the site has provided me with steady revenue without any external advertising, but this just goes to show that selling links is a legitimate revenue stream. While opinions on selling links varies, if you are familar with link-buying and selling marketplaces, you can add $100-$500 per month easily. Link sales is not something I actively pursued either or am too familiar with, but in recent weeks realized that many companies out there pay $30-$40 per month for a single link. If you sold 10-20 links, that's $300 to $600 more every single month.


Text Advertising - Join a marketplace like Adbrite or InfoLinks.com. Their code places advertisements on top of keywords within your content. No idea how much revenue this would actually produce, but it is just another monetization options


Other Monetization Strategies - There is a double opt-in mailing list integrated with this website with 547 subscribers. Set up a health-based or home-income-based autoresponder, collect leads, then profit. Or you can create your own e-book and sell it on-site. The possibilities really are endless, and you don't always have to rely on affiliate sales or Adsense! I collected the e-mails but never ended up marketing to them- my loss is your gain!


I assume most people viewing this auction are either in the make money online or health industry, or marketers that want an additional income stream.


If you are in the make money online industry, or in the health industry, like a personal trainer or health author, but not huge on SEO, follow the ideas above and you will profit. Stay on a regular posting schedule, write quality and helpful content, and the visitors will come. You can earn $2,500 or more every month without being an experienced SEO, but it will depend on how much work you want to put in. Just one hour a day spent writing and posting a high quality article will double or triple traffic within a few weeks. This blog only has 39 live posts. It pains me to think where this blog would be if I wrote just 1 more article per week... :: sigh ::


Anyway, advanced SEO's would call this website a money site- the crown jewel in a website portfolio that is kept squeaky clean so it can continue growing each month in traffic and revenue. You can pick any niche product, have a few quality posts written, then throw your links at it. Sit back and watch it rank.


In fact, you don't even need to write new content. For example, most of the revenue comes from affiliate sales of Home Income offers. If you can rank the existing pages even higher and get on the first page of the SERPs for Make Money Online, that's worth $1,000's every day. The potential to earn $5,000+ per month is very real if you have the skills and resources for ranking the pages to the top of the short tail (like "home income".)

The bulk of the revenue from this website comes from one method - Affiliate Sales of Home Income & 'Make Money Online' style affiliate programs. There is an additional $500 or so from health and weight loss affiliate programs. AdSense is self-explanatory.


One of the best affiliate offers for me this year has been Home Income Profit System, otherwise known as "Home Income Macbook" on the affiliate networks. Every time someone signs up for a free trial of this offer, you earn anywhere from $36-$43.50 per lead depending on which affiliate network you choose. This site has also made countless income from the various other products and services promoted on the articles (health, weight loss, diet, fitness, you name it).


This is just for several of the pages. Imagine if you had 50 products ranking high and making sales, that is easily $10,000+ per month from affiliate sales alone!


Then imagine ranking for 100, 200 products or more, The revenue potential should be very clear.


Possible Questions about Revenue


Here I will answer questions about the revenue that you may have

• Adsense - I added in Adsense right from the get-go. I currently only have it in one spot, on individual pages only, below the call to action.
• Work From Home Affiliate Offers - Mentioned above, a large amount of revenue comes from the free trial affiliate signups of popular biz opp offers. These are great products that have exploded in popularity, especially since the housing bust, recession, and since a lot of people are out of work. Expect huge sales in January as people sign up for these offers in order to learn how to work from home and increase their income as part of their New Years Resolution.
• Weight Loss, Fitness, Grants and other offers - These offers have pulled in a decent chunk of change over the last 8 months. In revenue screenshot #5, you can clearly see that affiliate sales from some of these products generated $100 or more each, with barely any work. For example, take a look at Celtrixa Stretch Mark Lotion (Celtrixa Stretch Mark Lotion – Bring your body back to normal | Finer Lifestyle) - Total earned was $131.40 off of just this one post!
• Where are the sales now? Sales are still going steady on the 'Home Income' offers. They aren't where they were a few months ago but they're still doing decent. If you understand affiliate marketing you understand that the offers fluctuate, and December isn't always the best month for business opportunity-type offers (However January is usually one of the best). You need to stay current on trends and popular products if you want your income to grow. This is just part of the business.

Super-Easy Revenue Ideas


If you can't make more money with this blog following these steps, then I really don't know what to tell you.


There are a ton of CPA offers for weight loss and work at home products (Affiliate networks, Clickbank, you name it). Most of these products spend large amounts of money on TV advertising, so the brand awareness is already there. People see the product on TV, then go to the internet to learn more or buy. You want to be the website that shows up 1st when they search


Here are some examples and their payouts:

• Home Online Jobs - $65.00 Per Lead
• Home Income Wealth System - $43.50 Per Lead
• Dermitate Skin Cream - $35.00 per sale
• Ab Flyer, Ab Rocket - $38.00 per sale
• Air Climber - $40.00 per sale
• Chalean Extreme - $32.00 per sale. This is a hugely popular product from BeachBody, creators of P90X
• Turbo Jam, Slim in 6 - $16.00. Both are also well-branded BeachBody products.
• The above are just CPA offers. Both Commision Junction and Clickbank have 1,000's of home biz and weight loss products. Way too many to list

Step 1. Choose any product above. Write about 3-5 solid posts about it, and put them in their own category (or series). Posts can include an overview, a review, testimonials, how-to-use, reviews from others, etc. The more posts you have about a single product, the better. You are better off posting honest reviews. Don't promote products that are obviously bad- you will lose credibility. You can review them, but just be honest.


Hint: If you know a product sucks, then you can bash it in a post. For some reason, this seems to work well. I ranked first page for a product's brand name because of this post (link) All I did was post and the traffic flew in. Strangely enough, depsite reading the bad review, some people will still buy it :: shrug ::


Step 2. Build links and traffic. Once your content is up and live, build links using traditional methods. Promote the product on Yahoo Answers (soft sell, don't be pushy!) Get other bloggers to link to you. Write an EZine article about the product and link it back to the pages on the blog. Build links with social media. So on and so forth.


Step 3. Having the content live is good enough, but you want to speed up the process of getting traffic by building links (as stated above). The more active you are in link building, the sooner you will see results and the higher you will rank over time. You don't have to spend hours every day doing this either. Just a few hours every week for promoting the content is good enough.


4. Repeat the process for every product you can find. Make $1,000's a month. Buy a new car or send your kids to college

Hi optimizedads,

1) I get listings ranked by several methods, one of which is scrapebox, if you're not familiar with it it's a great piece of software available for purchase for 57 bucks. I'd be happy to give you a primer on it. Another few methods I use are press releases, social bookmarking and article marketing. I have a ton of tips and tricks that I will reveal to the winning bidder.

2) The affiliate networks shown in the screenshots are: Convert2Media, Epic Direct, JAR Media, Eagle Web Assets. I'm very close with all of these network (except for JAR since they went out of business recently) and can pretty much guarantee that you get accepted to these networks if you use me as a reference. Keep in mind there are TONS of affiliate networks that have all these same offers (just take a look at 500+ CPA Networks and Publisher Affiliate Networks Reviewed // AffiliatePaying.com for a list). You don't have to use the same networks I did, it's up to you.

3) I'm always on my gmail, and around for support and to answer any questions that you may have. I'll easily include a week or two of support to get you set up and going, including some SEO training.

4) Yes, I did build the squidoo pages and yes they are included. I forgot to mention this in the description. That's another method that has worked well to drive traffic to the site.

5) I didn't claim to make 200-500 off of adsense... in fact the adsense revenue is only about $100 total over the 8 months. I never focused on adsense and I just kind of threw it on the site because it helps with rankings (Google knows it could potentially make some ad revenue off of your site so it'll add that extra boost to your rankings). What I'm referring to with the "beginner method ($200-500 a month)" is if you were to swap out all the affiliate links on this site with your own, you should hit those numbers no problem off of affiliate commissions.

6) The e-mails were originally on GetResponse, but I never actually got around to marketing to the users, so I just saved them all to a CSV and cancelled my getresponse account (no use paying for it since I didn't really use it). They were collected through a form I had running on the home page (where you see the "Download this toolbar" box now). The CSV will allow you to import into aweber, getresponse, icontact or any of the popular email CRM's.
