As an aside the 3 examples you posted above have the following exact global search count:

cheap crystal chandeliers = 480 exact globally, 390 US (CPC $0.05)

made to order curtains = 720 exact globally, 140 local US

pram blankets = 590 exact globally , 73 local US

Why are the exacts so low and the CPC virtually worthless on the 1st keyword ?

I bought a site just over a week ago. Initial service was very professional and fast.
I’m a newbie so needed some advice setting up affiliates. Great advice, affiliates were set up within 2 days which is good for Adsense I hear.

site was up and running within 3 days of purchase, with 2 articles as promised. The articles unfortunately weren’t that great, pretty sure they were just spun as I searched other top rank sites for the same key word and found bits and pieces of my articles in their sites. The articles didn’t completely make sense either.
But that is the only negative from this service.
The site ranked on the 3rd page at number 6 on the 2nd day for key words = voip providers Australia (exact match), and on the 1st page at number 4!!!! for key words voipprovidersaustralia (exact match but altogether).
Since I’ve tweaked the articles, added a few other and now it’s on the 1st page number 2 for key words = voip providers Australia (exact match), and 1st page number 3 for key words voipprovidersaustralia (exact match but altogether).
Bravo!

Overall grade
Great value = Recommended

UPDATE = Its slipped back to page 3 after 1 day. Anyone know why?

I can put up a wordpress site and not do any seo, post 2 articles and rank number 1 in 2 weeks if the competition is below 500 exact local searches.

I would be more convinced if you were ranking number 1 for a competition of at least 1000 per month (exact local searches).
