I have gone back and forth on the idea of creating new a new blog, or just paying for one, then only worry about SEO.. I took a leap of faith, and bought from Verena, and I must say I'm glad I did.. Not advisable if you don't know Worpdress well, as you need to tweak things.

It's easier if you install my package on a new domain and then set up Adsense on it. That's more "straight forward".
