I think it will be hard to get other sites to link to these "mini blogs". Article marketing or video marketing to get the traffic is not very useful. The work you put in the article or video is more than the blog itself :-)

Anyone here who has found a good/profitable way to promote a miniblog like "20 minite blogs" without seo?

Hi janhindrik,

Traffic comes from organic searches. These websites rank quickly on the first page of google because they are laser targeted, totally on page seo'd and off page seo'd as well. The key is in the research....you can predict to a degree how much traffic you'll get when you first look at how many searches there are for the keyword. Then you estimate from there based on what position your site is in.

Eventually, the sites will rank for not just the main keyword, but secondary and other keywords related to the main keyword, thus giving you even more traffic.

It is not hard at all to get links to these sites. As stated in sales thread, they will automatically be included in Tony's backlink network, that alone is killer. Nowadays you can find numerous fiverr gigs for all the backlinks you need. The main SEO with these sites and most important is the on page SEO and I am taking care of that for you!

Hey Janhindrik,

Well, the only two types of traffic I know of are paid and organic. Of course there are others in between, such as paid to surf, Twitter etc. Organic traffic is the best in my opinion because those are the searchers that are actually looking for what your site offers. They will be the most likely to click on the ads and buy affiliate products if your site offers valuable information.

Hello dualcarbon,

I'm not sure if you mean the criteria that I use to find keywords such as the ones on display above or the criteria you should use if you want to look for keywords...in either case really, it'll be the same, so let me share

Search Volume: When picking keywords, I always shoot for keywords that have an EXACT monthly search volume of at least 1,000. That's just a personal preference. Without traffic or searches, your site is worth nothing. You can use Google's keyword tool to find search volume.

Competition: There is room for play here, but I generally look for keywords with low-moderate competition. If you want specific numbers, I usually go for keywords that have "allintitle" competition of 10,000 or less. Sometimes keywords will have more than that and I will still choose them. Keyword research is not all about numbers. You must remember your true competition is the first page of Google. I look for things such as PR, backlinks, and whether or not any of the top 10 sites have the keyword I'm targeting in their title, description, header, etc.

Estimated CPC: Again, this is a personal preference, but I look for keywords with at least $1 CPC, which is actually cost per click. This is not the amount you can expect to receive per click though. This is the amount that advertisers are paying per click. Knowing this you can expect to receive around 60% of the CPC, based on my experience. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Oh, and I use Market Samurai to find the CPC.
