Main question: Why would I sell it?

Here's the answer: First, I owe my business partner money. He helped me through a misguided time in my life and cleaned up a 30K gambling debt to save me and my marriage - I have 4 awesome kids by the way. Second, as a teacher and a professional comedian (not to mention husband and father) my time is extremely limited.

I have never taken the time to create a solid video course upsell. I collect the email addresses of every customer...and I have never really followed up.

The only thing I did do well was contacting individuals who had sites that were well positioned to be affiliates. They all do well and make many sales for me.

The site and products (standard and optimum) do $14,000 a year right now. The product sells in Canada, USA, South Africa, Great Britain and Australia.

I have attempted to create a back end sales system and I can reveal those numbers to seriously interested parties.

The biggest plus to this business to an experienced internet marketer is how much room for growth there is. Our product dominates the niche. My clickbank gravity is just under 12.0

I generate about 17% of my own sales...the rest are affiliate sales. Someone with experience could make a ton more cash right there...by getting their own sales.

If this business opportunity looks great but you don't want to invest, I would be willing to joint venture with someone and arrive at a profit split or fee for taking the company to the next level.

I just know it is easier to work harder on something you own 100% of (if you have the time and know-how). Unfortunately I lack the know-how so I can't afford the time to learn by trial and error etc.

I had a few questions PM'd to me. Here is some more info based on those answers.

I see no reason why my affiliates would not continue to work with the new owner. They all make good money promoting The Wedding MC Jokebook.

I have never placed the back end sales link in the Standard Version of the product. The standard version sells for $19.99 and the Optimum for $29.99. The optimum version has a 6-part audio series with a 5 minute video of me MC'ing a wedding.

Looks like a Joint Venture is more likely for this business. If you have any ideas or proposals, please let me know. Based on what I have been hearing, I would be silly to sell this site.

So I might as well take it to the next level. Doubling the income to 30K is my goal...now.
