Hi All I own a website which is around 3 years old. I have only ever done SEO on it, i dont pay for any traffic, It is very niche around a certain casino. It makes good money every month, currently its making between 10000 and 14 000 USD per month. I have not touched the site for 3 years, its ranking # 3 on google for the main keyphrase, if its gets to number 1, it will make a lot more cash. I currently get 25 % of net win for lifetime and have over 1500 players on my network. I have proof of all of this, and would be willing to let SERIOUS potential buyers have access to everything they need I am thinking of selling the site. What sort of cash do you guys think i can get for it ? Anyone interested in it ? Dan |

Why would you sell a site which is making that much?

I dont really need to sell. I am just thinking about it if i get the right price. I am not sure on the valuations of these types of sites anyway, A lump sum of money is great for me, i have a few things i am after. |

I'm no expert, but the going asking price for websites on Flippa is about 10 X the monthly income, although some sites seem to go for peanuts and others for ridiculous money. Proof of visitors and income would be required to fetch highest price, thats if Flippa allows gambling sites on their site, but 10 or 12 X the monthly income should give you something to aim for regardless of where you sell Cheers |

If you decide not to sell your site, I'd be happy to work it up to #1 in return for a share of the revenue. Always an option, but good luck with the sale if that's what you decide to do. |

Hi, With that kind of revenue, you would probably get a higher price from a regular business broker than flippa. -Dave |

Heres my 2 cents. You have a site that is 3 years old and have only ever done SEO ie assuming no paid traffic and you havent touched it in the last 3 years. It is currently number 3. Has it always been number 3? IMO getting to number 1 wouldnt make that much difference in this type of niche because the "gambler" is always looking for the next best offer. So they will always search for and check the first few, so I reckon if you are number 3 then you should be ok. It is a common conception that normally 10x the monthly is an accepted rough evaluation but if you do sell this you will get much more, again because of the type of niche it is. You have something that can only get bigger, unless the particular casino goes bust or disreputable which a lot of them are these days, just go to casinomeister . com forums and see what I mean. If you have this income from number 3 and have been there for a while then personally I would keep it. For smaller incomes like $50 to $250 fair enough, take the 10x but for 10k to 14k and accepting one years lump sum, then its a no brainer, keep the site. Unless there is something wrong with it???? That would be the only reason for selling. |

I agree with the_icon. Selling something that brings you quite a solid income (especially if you do not put any effort in it) without any obvious reason looks a bit fishy. You might have a perfectly good offer, where all is honest and real, but unfortunately too frequently similar offers turn out to be a scam. Sorry, nothing personal, only my opinion. I sincerely wish you luck with closing a deal.

A lot of irrelevant comments on this thread... he's paid for a sales thread so no need for comments about why he shouldn't sell. If I were him I'd not be impressed. @ Dan - Sounds like you're looking in the low 6 figure range. I have a number of active buyers in the gambling space, so drop me a PM if you'd like to discuss. Cheers! |

If you were him you would not be impressed? Why? This is a public forum and you always get people that jump in with their "supposed" two cents just to put their link at the bottom, thats the way the WF run it. If it was all honest sales, honest answers, honest reviews then it would be ideal but it aint, is it? Personally I wish it was. You see all too often people scraping together their last pennies to get a WSO or similar, just to be scammed. Anyways back to his copy. He says he is thinking of selling which would indicate that he isnt sure. I think he should be aware of all possibilities before making an informed decision. Especially given how much he is supposedly making. Also he has paid for a sales thread? But not actually intimating a sale. Again, looking like he looking for advice. |
