Im placing my time and energy into another area and so I am wanting to sell the site & or domain I currently own.

Let me explain what I mean about the "Site & or Domain".

The domain is aged (OVER one n a half years), has a google PR3, and gets indexed regularly and quickly. When I post I see traffic within seconds from my FB and Twitter accounts and can start seeing traffic on the same day from search engines.


The site on the other hand was recently moved from a custom coded site to blogger (please don't laugh, its pathetic to use blogger I know...long story). My plan was to work on the site further and then move it to WP. Like I said its a very long story.

The site is in the product review and news niche. Its very male orientated and I have a unique humor writing style. But because the domain is kind of broad and is a play on words it can actually be used for most any site. Ive purposely been uploading a wide variety of reviews to see what pages rank better and ive noticed that snow board reviews and snow board products along with beer review do well for some reason. Also I noticed when I use my curation software with no other content of my own and long tail titles the search engines love it. So essentially your also getting free research too.

The site and domain receive some very good ranking's and are getting pages indexed somtimes within minutes and hours. Currently the BIG keyword's the site and domain ranks well for is "Product Reviews" & "Product Review" when using google.com.au we are currently at the time of this writing ranked position 3 for both of those keywords and they get a total combined impression rate of 17,500(imagine what you could do with that?...). *UPDATE* That has now fallen off.

We also get ALL of our traffic from FREE sources such as google, facebook, twitter and some other methods.

Money:

Couple bucks per month on adsense. Was paid by a blog network $50.00 to add some links to our site and have all of her details. Why no more money? If I knew that I wouldnt be selling it. Thats the truth. Im not going to sit here and lie to you. Maybe im just a bad business person, maybe I didnt niche it out which is what everyone told me to do, maybe maybe maybe. I dont have a list either and I think if the right person grabs this site and builds a list with it, it could be very easy to monetize. Our main resource is content and when we upload content daily our traffic goes up which means list sign ups could grow easily.


What price do I want? Ill take a few thousand to be honest... but I know thats just silly. So if you are keen send me your offer and the best offer will win. This site & or domain will sell! Something else i just thought of, the domain expires in June if the site does not sell I WILL NOT be re-registering the domain again, the site will fall off the face of the interweb! Dont let it go to waste.

Just some additional info that I forgot in my original thread:

The reviewdoo facebook page has 1000+ likes and fans
The twitter has 100+ followers
Youtube has a small number of subscribers + about a dozen videos and many views

You can have all these accounts too as I dont need them.

If so, thats just a mix of link swaps and sites I actually like and or am affiliated with.

when you moved the site to blogger, did you make sure the links names were created for every page? otherwise incoming links will be invalid and the serps will start slapping you soon.

Update: no one has bid on this yet. It seems odd especially since I said ill sell it for the highest price. When there are no bids100 bucks can be the highest bid and so can 200 or even 50? lol.

Buying sites is risky business. Google is known to reset sites to PR0 when they switch owners so that people can't snap up high PR domains and use them for link building. If you don't have any bids let me know, if you were willing to keep it registered under your name and on the same hosting I could use a site like this. what I mean is example.com/link-keyword-context.htm before may now be example.com/site-page-name-different/ meaning that if there was a link out there for a page that no longer existed under the same link structure and there was no redirect on them, then these links would bring up 404 errors and serps would start penalising you big time for it. No, i didnt re-direct any of the pages.

I know what you mean. Google is still catching up on realizing some pages dont exist anymore, but google no longer penalizes for this from my understanding. And even if they did they havent penalized me and its been a long time already with them having crawled my many times.

Currently im away on holiday for a few days and the INternet is slow where I am, so im dealing with that. Also Ive had two offers from warriors, one is for $20 and the other for $50.

ReviewDoo.com has been sold for an undisclosed sum. Thanks to all who bid via flippa and warriorforum. Due to the terms of sale ReviewDoo will no longer be up and running in the same format, I think the buyer wanted the domain name only, but I cant say much more than that. Congrats to the buyer! As for myself Ill be starting a new venture which has been a hobby of mine for a while... more on that later. All social networking accounts will be shut down slowly over the next few weeks and the site may go down as early as this week. Thanks all that liked and contributed over the last year or so. Its been fun!
