This week we’ve been promoting our new free widget and we had 3k pageviews, but few of them used it. We don’t know why.None of us know how to sell. Our website is :Let's upgrade the Internet - Develllopers In the past few months we developed a Google extension (not the one I mentioned above)for individuals to send web files to their cloud storage. The feedback is good. So we developed this widget for web masters. Adding a few lines of code, the files do not have to be downloaded to the user's computer first. They go directly from the website to the cloud storage. Please give me some advice. Thank you very much! Effie |

Isn't it a good idea to download files directly to cloud instead of downloading to computer locally? I know maybe we put too much words on our web. But how to make it attractive and understandable? |

The question is "used what?" I am a self proclaimed techno geek and I have no clue what you are offering on this page... are you offering something? I see some code and that's about it. I might suggest that you give step by step how to implement in the wordpress environment. Ok I really do know what you are offering but you are making it far from clear.. what are the benefits of this? Does it reduce load time? does it reduce server load? why would someone use this? You are living in an IT world and your prime audience with this product is not as IT as you are... they want to be, but they are not. Dumb down the tech, and speak to web developers that will USE THIS, and not the IT guys that thought up the code. Look at IFTTT.com for inspiration. very technical in WHAT it does, but broken down so that ANYONE would use it! |

Your simple lines of code have great value... I seriously would look into converting it into a wordpress plugin, then the page dropped code could be a "shortcode" Doing this, all of the sudden you have removed the "IT" out of the process, and brought forward the benefit. And getting such a thing listed on Wordpress' plugin directory opens up a whole new marketplace for you.

We are very happy that you like our simple lines of code. This week I was so frustrated.... The wordpress plugin is under discussion. We need some time to think about this. In the beginning we developed this widget for webmasters who host a web where people can downlode musics, videos, images, etc. You mentioned that people who don't know code is our prime audience. So do you mean bloggers or people who host personal website will be interested in our widget?
