It looks great! Eye catching, simple, readable, easy to navigate. My only suggestion is to make your testimonial look different than the other text at the bottom of the page to make it stand out a little bit.

Is responsive, cool design, fast loading. I like it !
But what's with that White text with clouds in the back? Change that.
Use for that text the same reddish color you have in the header ( the exact same one ) . Or something else that will create the proper contrast.

Hope this helps, cheers

Not screaming at me at all... well maybe it is... "what are you hiding?" you need a carousel or the like with images of recent pages or logos of clients you have done work for ( social proof )

just overly blah... think about this. people want a page created. they are excited about the project.. they have vision, they have drive, they are looking for that perfect match to bring their baby to life.. and then they land on your page. I seriously think its a let down.

When you get a chance... look at the upcity list. load up some of your competitors.. y'all look a like. everything is muted and b/w and blah... break the mold. look up other upcity listings like Seattle ( Gravitate is pretty cool ) and LA and Denver and NYC. they all resemble one another in each community. its like each city has their own identity.

Lets look at your 3 bullet points for a moment.. you are listed in the top 50 upcity list. Ok I knew what it is.. I know its a big deal.. most people will probably be shocked there are 50 web designers in Atlanta.. you are giving them an option to find your competitors. - really not good when you look at it that way.

we are ranked #1.... that's great if you mentioned that you are a web design and SEO firm. I will bet this point is not mentioned in the traffic draw to this page as well. not a good match I would say.

We provide amazing design and fab customer service. I seriously do not consider being "Best" a bullet point.

ALL THREE BULLET POINTS are talking about YOU. isn't this what you can do for your CLIENTS?

I am going to be straight up blunt. after looking at your site, and seeing you have done more than a decent amount of work. I would grade this lander an F. Poorly executed. Poor delivery of message. poor imaging. typos all over the place. Poor call to action... "TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THE NEXT LEVEL!" really? LOL

you have some work to do.

The landing page looks really good.

The only thing I would take off is the phone number that you have on top.

Re: Landing Page Critique

I'd like to know what are some of the difference with a wordpress
theme to use to create a landing/squeeze page vr's using a wordpress
plugin to do it.

What do you use and why do you use it the way you do. Also, why don't
you do it the other way? Or do you use both?

I mean, could you use a wordpress theme that is specifically designed
to build a wordpress landing/squeeze page WITH a wordpress plugin
that ALSO builds landing/squeeze pages?

Well any help on this topic would be very very useful as I am about
to begin doing this. I have hosting and a url and am about to get
an auto-responder going this week.

The short answer to your question... I personally will duplicate a themes "full width" template. remove the header and footer details. then I make the body of the page transparent ( so the background image shows covering the whole page ) and use columns shortcode to place my elements such as text, video and optin-box.

If you didn't understand a word of what was said above... which is fine, hardly anyone using wordpress is a programmer. I would use a plugin.

Hope that Helps!

We usually build our landing pages in plain ol' HTML and CSS. I have use wordpress before to build a landing page if you are not a coder like some of our are, then I would suggest to get wordpress and plugin it will definitely make your life easier.

In the other hand if you really want to learn HTML and CSS I would build the landing page from scratch, it might take longer but you are learning something.

I suggest to reduce black color police and make your logo in the title bar

Hello

I am also interested in this topic. So what kind of plugin do you mean? I don't know even what to search after reading your explanation.

So you mean plugin for adding text or other elements on the picture? Or what?

A plug-in as in a squeeze page plug-in: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=squeeze+page

Proof read everything: this jumped at me; you might have more:

WHAT ARE CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY!

You need better reasons: you being named top 50 of something doesn't do much for me.

You making a website that gets 235% better conversions than the one I have does a lot more for me than any of the 3 reasons in your bullet points.

Offer them something for free. Being intrigued about "take your business to the next level" is not enough. Try "Get a free situation analysis."

I agree with a lot of the posters before me. Your list of reasons of why to do business with your company sounds like you are bragging about how great your company. I think you should change the list to identify the top problems your company is solving for its potential customers.

Also, your call to action 'Click here' button is not very compelling. I think you could provide a free report that your target customer will find value in as an incentive to join your list where you will have better opportunities to convert the prospect into a buying customer.

Hope that helps.

Thank you guys for your continuing feedback. It seems there is mix feelings as far as design. Some of you really like it and some of you have minor design suggestions.

The problem seem to be the content, CTA, etc. We are already addressing this issues.

This is why its important to A/B test and get second opinions.

Thanks guys.

When you make an SEO statement... it had better be true... yours is not. I checked from 6 different access locations other than Atlanta.. and your statement is 100% false.

your attempt at a USP is far to similar to who is in #1 Atlanta Web Design unless you are going to say that is you.

It looks good, good design, nice headlines, simple opt in form. But your customers critique is the best critique, place some plugin like "How would you rate our services" "Our website" Etc, then you will have the exact info on what needs to be changed.
