Best Way To Utilize Pre-Sale Page
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello Warrior friends.

I am fairly new to the affiliate marketing game and I was hoping someone could shine some light on my steep learning curve.
I have signed up for an Offer in the weight loss niche that pays a decent amount. It is not a trial page. The affiliate manager shared a bunch of creative files and I'm curious about the pre-sale page that he shared.
What would be the best way to make use of this page?Womens Health Weight Loss — Weight Loss

Thank you!

K

Me personally..i would be tearing the sales page apart in photoshop and implementing the video... the testimonials you have and making it visually as close to the same as I could get it. All of the content is not to bad.. but the contrast from the 1st page to the sales page I bet throws people off.

The #1 rule in online sales is consistency of message.. and how the page looks is a part of that overall message!

Thank you Savidge, That makes sense.
And if I had the perfect pre-sales page, where would I be using it? Can you buy media space like with banners? or do you funnel email lists to ? Any thoughts on that?

If you are going to send traffic to a pre-sales page you would expect that you build some site around the niche you are targeting.

You would want to have other valuable information that gave visitors value and lowered your advertising costs if you were intending using PPC to drive traffic to the offer.

You may want to consider having some lead magnets to capture emails or other data on visitors.

You may want to consider retargeting. In weight loss there are some issues with collecting personal information with retargeting in Google but you can probably retarget in Facebook which is quite a good idea as the target market is more female based and FB is great for targeting female heavy niches.

I work a lot in the surgical weight loss niche so have quite a bit of experience in where the better prospect comes from...difference is my clients sell $8K - $23K solutions so the payout is a lot higher than affiliate stuff.

Even though they spend a ton of money on ads the best "low cost" source is FB and traffic from other female strong areas. In social also consider Pinterest and Instagram for weight loss.

I'm not really into too much affiliate stuff although I do run maybe 20 sites that do get affiliate payments. From some of those sites there are Garcinia and other sales from time to time but they are really only a supplement to driving prospects for the surgical solutions.

As for conversion rate optimisation you would need to run continual split tests to see what converts best.

Sending qualified traffic to the pre-sales page and then normally collecting emails PLUS offering an additional bonus that has high perceived value increases results.

I use a lot of "resource guides"...."accompanying study guides" etc that compliment the products you are selling.

If you can create a guide that visitors want in addition to there product you can put the pre-sales page back inside the resource guide to get a second crack at the sale.

If you include opting in to get that guide to can then mean various other offers also.

If you retarget as well you get a compounding effect.

It is not sort of something that is newbie focussed but you should learn and build with a bigger strategy from the outset...much like Savidge suggests with page design.

Build something you can use for multiple promotions.

Attract people who are seeking the solution and make sure you have multiple solutions or at least can switch products and offers as they go in and out of popularity.

That way you build more of an asset that will work for you in the longer term.

Your response makes a lot of sense Ozi, I really appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time, it's a wealth of information but it connects.
I am working on content in the way you described like ebooks to hand out to email lists and create a content "library" that all points towards the "magic bullet" being the garcinia supplement..
Let me investigate more into the other things you mention here.
Thank you again!

Offer your visitors to your website interesting email or reports courses on topics that you are expert on.Create an "Our Story" page on your website. People who come on your website want to know that you are real. The key to writing a dynamite case study is to explain the problem, present the solution that solved the problem and describe the positive results that your customer received as a result of purchasing your product or service.Use a good way to describe your products and services. Don't present cryptic, boring specifications and data to describe your product.Your website should clearly explain to your visitor how your company is different from any other competing business. You not only need to make your unique competitive advantage clear and concise, but it must take your visitor by surprise and wow them.
