I would without question think this may be a structure ( navigation ) issue. if you goto your home page and want to find where to look at and buy a "Phone" its not so clear. and above the fold? aside from the static image there is nothing.

So what if I landed there looking for a "tablet" in this case there is absolutely nothing above the fold.

your blog content is way off from the products you provide. why not a write up on each of the phones you have? "Smartwatches" are cool but do you sell those on your site?

Success is an ACT not an idea

When customers land on your site, for some reason you aren't meeting their needs, or giving them what they were looking for/expecting when they foudn your site.

To convert more visitors, you need to make sure the content on your site is targeted directly to what your visitors expect to find, and make sure you give them solutions to the specific problem they're looking for.

I used to tell myself, "I'm already doing that" when I was having this problem, but the results speak to reality, and can't be argued with.

My advice would be study more about marketing and copywriting.

A solid sales page needs a form that captures email addresses. There are many templates that include this feature.

The biggest fear a buyer has when on a site that sells brand name
items, is what?

Do you know what it is?

You haven't relieved your buyer's fear of it.

There are many ways on which you can work to bring more exposure and more conversions. Check out the following strategies that help you to boost traffic and sales for your ecommerce business.
1. Social Media: Having a presence on social media platform is a great for attracting customers, traffic and sales. You can use websites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,Instagram and more. You can create social media contests to generate traffic first as shoppers enter and second long term as shoppers pay more attention to your marketing.Choose the best time to post on social media networks like Facebook, Twitter etc.
Facebook:

  • 12AM: lunchtime is the best time to share things.
  • 11AM – 4PM: this is the best time to post a featured story or piece of news.
  • 7pm >: highest involvement rate after the workday.
Twitter:

  • 5pm: most retweets happen at this time which makes it the best time to post.
  • 12 PM AND 6PM: high CTR percentages are recorded at lunchtime and at the end of the workday.
2. Blogging: Make full use of content. The better your content, the better your website as a whole will rank. You content should contain the words (with target keyword) that retain the user on the website.
3. Video Website: Video website like YouTube, Vimeo etc. generally rank high in search engine and become great source of traffic. Video on website like YouTube watched every seconds by visitors. If you can create a great deal of product videos and you add a link to the description with your link, it can be highly targeted traffic.

Make a combination of massive traffic + targeted paid ads (the first enlarge your brand, the second gives you more sales)

Yo Ben,

Just to ask, do you have email marketing set up?

Or:

Pop Ups For Exit Intent?

Thanks,

Christopher Pontine

Hello
Yes i do have email marketing set up aswell as a pop up on my site asking people to share to social media for a coupon code.

I think the hardest thing for me is to actually get people to convert through the checkout. The abandoned cart emails hasnt really brought any success for me

thanks for all the great info

You can try getting more traffic through better targeting, these days facebook is best for that so invest some little money to experiment then after you get positive results scale it up. You can also try organizing some contests and reward best picture for a certain topic for example, that way you will engage people more to share your page and you will get organic traffic. Giving some prizes can be much cheaper than buying traffic. These are just some of ideas I would use.

Free ebook "The Money Is In The List". This will help you a lot if you're struggling online. Download here.

Yup, it’s a commonly known problem - high traffic and low sales. We are spending our money to get some visitors, but at the same time forget to invest in conversions. The main thing you must do - to build a relevant and fresh list of leads. Grab your visitor emails using popups like Picreel, and then start the email marketing campaign with MailChimp. Do not forget about discounts, special offers etc., to capture attention and motivate.
