Hi guys. I'm relatively new to the IM/AM thingy so hope you can bear with me. I've recently tried SOLO Ads on the NICHE of MMO. Bought around 500 clicks and conversions on average is about 41% (pretty decent i think). Howvever, NOT A SINGLE SALE were made.

Is there anything wrong? Does this happen often to guys who are starting out?
I was analyzing my situation and thought that probably the traffic i was getting and the product that im promoting doesn't sync well. (I'm promoting a beginner guide to get started on IM, MMO) Since my Traffic is mainly niche in the MMO, my product is sort of "irrelevant" , Am i right to make that assumption?

If so, What kind of traffic should I be looking out for to ACTAULLY Generate sales out of my conversions?

Hope the pros and the veterans in this FIELD can help me out with this!

What exactly is your opt-in process? To opt-in is there a report given? do they get dropped to a thank you page, or are you progressing to a sales page?

I have a squeeze page where by they optin to be able to receive a 'stay home business' package where there are videos and pdfs to help guide them. Thereafter, there will be a thank you page leading them to the sales page as shown above.. Opt in ratios are great.. I have no complains on that. Its just that after 200+ optin(s) , I was kinda expecting some sort of Upfront sales ..But to my disappointment , there were none.

you are relyng on the sales page to do the work, and often times that is really not how it works. In your e-mail series you have set up, you need to NOT sell upfront and reinforce the product you have sent. "Thanks for downloading my stuff.. have you checked out the videos? this one goes over this and that one goes over that.. if you have any questions please reply and I will do my best to answer your questions."

You would send another about the PDF's what the strengths are etc. at about e-mail #3 you have given a good solid introduction to YOUR content.. now you can introduce the program you are selling.. if your product ( free give away ) is a base to work from.. how is the product you are now offering the obvious next step? email 4 and 5 I would do something like in vide < insert title > we learned about this and in the PDF section about < insert > we learned this.. using the < product name > you take these steps to whole new levels blah blah blah.

and from there you drop that product.. you need to maintain a flow of decent content to your list as you build them. and you over the course of a month deliver a new product that works with your base content.

I see what u are getting into.. So its more of the email marketing doing the work for you rather than sales page securing clients. Thanks for clarifying.. I feel more hopeful towards my funnel.. I'm giving content every Odd mails sent and pitching to them to buy every even letters. Is this a frequency that might scare/annoy potential leads away?

I personally think so.. Thats just me tho. You have to try ( test ) different methods and see which works best. I find that give give give and then sell works best.

I have used the give give give formula for more than a while now, it works ( again for me ) if you look at Gary Vaynerchuk you will see he has a book "Jab Jab Jab Left Hook" I refined my approach based on his "teachings" if you will. I would suggest watching any of his online videos ( he has more than a few ) to get a better understanding of how this works, and more importantly WHY it works. - and I am sure you will get more than a few laughs out of the process.

You also have to consider, if they are opting in for a compelling video course, why would they buy anything until they have consumed what they opted in for?

I doubt their is any compelling reason for them to pull out their wallets in this funnel.

probably you don t get targetted traffic.
Work on keyword. I you use AdWords concentrate to leave out, exclude wrong keywords!

DO you mean that unless they digest my free materials, or else they would have no reasons to buy my materials? If thats the case, you do prove a point... So you think i should reduce the amount of materials given?

Thanks for the helping me take a look at my page. but thats my sales page. I do have my own landing page where i'd take in names and email address.. =), And most of my 500 traffic that came are mostly from SOLO-ads
