Upcoming Indiegogo product, give me feedback for our website!
Share on:

Hello,

A friend and I are launching a product on Indiegogo soon called LifeCable and we're trying to get email signups on our website beforehand so that we can email blast everyone once we launch and get a ton of initial pledges.

Here's the website: LifeCable - The Any-Device Power Sharing Cable

We're currently hovering at around a 6% conversion rate from the Facebook ads we're running and we think we can do much better. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

looks good to me...but is there a reason for duplicate time count down and email address input?
my suggest is do one time will do...
on the top show the count down... then bottom for email address input...

I think the page is pretty well done. However I have a question about the product. Can I plug it into a wall and charge 2 devices at the same time?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like a deal where if my iphone has 90% battery, and my wife's android has 10% battery, I can give some of mine to her. Is that the case. A little clarity here might help.

Maybe a headline that addresses this could help increase conversion.

I've done conversion work for many big companies such as Expedia, The Boston Globe, Kobo Books, Firestone and more...

No, but we will have a stretch goal for a small adapter that will allow you to plug into a wall or computer and charge one device.

Yes, that's how the cable works. We're going to work on clarifying that on the website.

Hmm, we might try that. We originally did have one email form but we added two because we thought it might help increase conversions. We've always had two timers though.

I think I would test losing the top timer... leave the e-mail there, and then use the timer and email set at the bottom.

Clarifying the use of the product... as pointed out above.. what exactly does it do... THIS is really your POWER statement.. your USP ( Unique Selling Perspective ) Something like "Mobile to Mobile Power Sharing"

I think you may want to push a little more the fact you are selling an Apple Certified Accessory. that is a bit of a big deal. It is very common to see "Apple MFi Certified" versus the wording you are currently using. I believe this also allows you to use the "Made For" Apple logo? ( look up "MFi certified logo" in Googe images )

Best of luck with this.. looks like a cool product!
