It is always hard to convert a non-payer into a paying customer. Do you get any front end sales?...not the free one's but people buying the packs you offer? Here's a few thoughts... 1. Ask the people who got the free tracks why they didn't buy the upsell. I suspect two main reasons...they haven't listened to the free tracks yet...or they are only after FREE. 2. Maybe test offering one of your $25 packs for a DOLLAR...then ask for the upsell...then you've got a qualified buyer not a freebie seeker. 3. Hit the free users up afterwards with a couple of more free content in return for providing feedback and even sharing their creations....send them a few more free tracks like one a week via auto responder sequence....and then ask them to buy...again...maybe a $100 pack for like $7 ...need to test these types of ideas. Hope that helps. Oh and if the front end sales from homepage need a boost maybe change some of the red text on the graphic image as it it isn't that easy to read....that would be a start | |

Personally I think the thought process is a little wrong. They get a couple of songs for free, then you immediately try to sell them on more songs. They haven't had time to listen to what you've already given them. I'm thinking the "Thank You" page should be more like a "Browse Music Library" page where they can browse other songs and choose to purchase them at that point. I have a few other ideas, but I have to get offline right now. Feel free to PM me and I'll gladly share. |

As a former music producer/writer/sound engineer in Hollywood, I can tell you that your beat itself is what will make people want to purchase the tracks and come back for more, as well as spreading the word.... The Beat(s) Itself is the Problem I feel your beat should be stronger to be the track that makes people want to take action. You really want to give them a better first impression and more of a variety in the sound overall (not quality, but style/tone). Do you have something that sounds less electronic and more "funky?" Or rather, a little more rhythmic than melodious? Another thing I'd recommend is to include several breaks in each track, that totally changes the composition of the track for a brief period of time, and then goes back to the original track...with a smooth transition the entire time. That will help sell your tracks also. One thing you can do is to let people listen to all of your beats and let you know which are the best five. Take the unanimous winners and place those on your lander/oto, etc. Hope that helps! |
