Without knowing more, here's some advice... 1.) As others said here, use social media. Off the top of mind, I can imagine Pinterest would be a great place to start. Take photos of different wedding dresses (preferably with people in them who allow release of their photos) and post them on Pinterest; following people who are interested in getting married or who are most likely to be in a serious relationship/engaged. Facebook is also a good place to set up shop; simply join a few wedding/type groups and contribute your knowledge to people looking to get married/remarried/engaged. That will help funnel traffic back to your store. 2.) Does your shop have any content on it? Content that people can read to get information or insight, such as articles, blog posts, infographics, videos, etc? If not, you definitely want to add some content, because I'm sure there is no shortage of wedding stores/sites out there that people can click to within seconds. You want to give them a reason to keep coming back, or at least look at your store as an "authority" in wedding dresses. 3.) Where are you getting traffic from? Is it organic (search engine) or do you have advertising in place? That will matter a lot because if you traffic isn't targeted, no one will engage--no conversions/sales will take place and if they do, it will be a rarity. Hey Moira Yao, Funny enough my step-mom owns a wedding shop in Williams Lake. What she has done to promote it successfully is by supplementing offline marketing with online marketing. Here are some key marketing tactics she's successfully implemented: 1. Online promotion insert her store. IE: "Like our Facebook page and receive a 5% discount on your next purchase" "Share our Facebook page with 5 friends and get opted-in for our free giveaway contest" 2. Facebook Advertising: Using a small budget to generate users to "Like" her Facebook page, using intelligent keyword research to find the right audience to target -- that will ultimately have the most chances of converting. 3. Collecting emails upon *every* purchase at her store in person, or online. This way she sends email blasts to her list every week showcasing the newest deals, new dresses that have arrived, and additional apparel. Let me know if some of those strategies have helped. I think, you can start promoting your website on social media with interested pics and attractive deals. Images attracts more visitors then other things and that's why sites like Pinterest, Facebook can help you a lot. So start with social media and if you have time and little knowledge of SEO then you can you can do this as well. Good luck.

Link it with Facebook and pinterest, Instagram. Make the content similar so they can see the link. When you got enough likes and followers, try to do some kind of offer on your website. To get more likes and followers, try to follow and like similar pages.

Quickest way is by paying for traffic (Adwords/bing). Social media can help you started, but don't rely on that too much, it will take some time. Get on niche related forums that allow signature links, and promote there. If you're in here for the long run, focus on SEO as well. |

This is less of a marketing tip and more of an overall business strategy tip. But have you considered partnering with local wedding/event planners? You could form relationships with them to offer them discounts for bringing their clients to you for their dresses. You could even go to the extreme of trying to establish exclusivity with some of these planners... Just a thought |

Create social media profiles for your online shop and promote it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Twitter. Next, to increase the views, likes or favorites on your post make sure that you have tons of active followers. Moira Yao - I wanted to mention also, being wedding dresses are for a particular audience, you can also consider partnering with channels/websites that already do a great job of acquiring users with aligned interests to their site/business . The easiest and fastest way is to use PPC ads. The traffic you'll receive from ads is targeted and converts better. Also don't forget to build your email list at the first place. |

For this, I think promoting it VISUALLY is the best way. Go for Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram. If you want engagement go for FB. or basically do as much as you can on these Social media sites, its important to setup your organic followers first. After that, pay for traffic. Dont stop the ball on free traffic. Maximize your reach. If i may suggest, ive seen online shops engage in paid traffic to increase their targeting. Try to get traffic use all social media. write SEO friendly strong content(it' important more than anything coz google now depend on content to increase site rank and showing site on top in search result). Do proper on page and off page SEO. hope it will help you increase your traffic. |

You did not mention if you are building a list or not. Assuming that you are not, please start it right away. Target unmarried people who are engaged in face book (Facebook demographics allow you to target unmarried but engaged last 3 months). Build a lead magnet. A webinar will be great or a cheat sheet such as "How to marry like a celebrity but spend like a janitor" or "27 tips to buy wedding ring" or "31 best honeymoon spots you must consider" like that. Build your list and build relationship with your subscribers. With trust, you get the business easily. Try : Instagram and Pinterest. Good luck with your business. |

I would post pictures of the most beautiful wedding dresses I sell on Instagram. I would also search post of people who just got #engaged (other tags would be #proposal #isaidyes #engagement) and send them congratulations to call attention to your shop. On my IG page, I would also post postcard tips/guides on how to make sure the wedding dress you ordered online fits. You can also post guides on best wedding dresses for what types of bodies. I would also feature hot deals on my IG like the latest gowns available at an affordable price range, or new designs as they come to your store. |
