Lead Gen Sites: Visitors to Leads rate?

Hi all, until recently, I was getting about 1 qualified lead for every 20 visitors or so, sometimes as low as 1 in 12. What are your conversion rates like?

The reason I ask, is I made a change last month that boosted conversions to 1 in 7, sometimes even 1 in 5. I think it's AWESOME, but maybe there's still work to do.

What did you change to get from 20 to 7? On page stuff?

That's secret sauce stuff at the moment, until I have more data to corroborate. PM me if you're in the lead generation space - mailing list opt-ins isn't really what I'm about.
