5,000 person email list.. 30k visitors per month.. STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MONETIZE THIS SITE!

I currently run this niche relationship advice site: https://www.blackloveadvice.com/

I've built the list to 5,000 people and we get 30,000 visitors per month through email, social media, search engines etc...

I've tried monetizing through AdSense... That sucked!!! We only made $250 per month!!!

Now I've replaced the AdSense banners with affiliate banners.. Not sure if that's going to be much better.

Does anyone have any ideas? How would you monetize this site?

Offer Ebooks, Studies and other exclusive content in order to continuing capturing emails
Start up a subscription service for exclusive areas on the website (Maybe a forum?)
Offer advertisement to dating agencies
Encourage community building with visitors
You could offer affliate products that are relevant to the niche within blog posts or news
Create a newsletter for email subscribers to keep the interest peaked
Seek out influencers or guest post writers within your niche - monetize the community of others to drive traffic your way

I'm not sure what services/products you are selling, so I've just thrown some off the wall ideas your way instead.
Of course, everything you do needs to be aligned to your goal. So if its selling your product, you need to be looking at 'What can I do to sell my product on this website?'

You have to understand who your customers are before you can sell to them.

Who is your typical visitor?
Why are they visiting your site?
What problem do they have?
How do you solve the problem?

Once you know this you will have a better idea on what to sell to your visitors.

Also it comes down to a lot of testing. Split testing different campaigns and seeing what performs best.

Also research your competition, what are they promoting on their websites?

We have tried them.

Content.ad was a decent revenue source.

We really want to push this site to at least $50 per day though. If we could get it there I would be estatic 😂😂😂

Honestly with that much traffic, it trips me out why you don't have any info products to sell. At least sell a few ebooks for $10 or $15... I went to your store and I saw nothing.

The ads that show up are a roll of the dice when it comes to the relevance of your target markets interest.

And if you decide to sell ebooks, I write salesletters to sell them.

Your number one priority should be to continue to build your list. There should be a way to opt in to your list "above the fold" on each of your pages. Offer something free or low cost to encourage people to opt in to your list.

Are you contacting your list on a regular basis now? Provide valuable content related to your niche and give your readers an opportunity to purchase your products. You could use blog excerpts with a link back to your site to continue reading.

Feature one of your products and a gift idea on your sidebar with a link to the corresponding page. You could be sitting on a goldmine!

Yes, I do contact our list regularly and have built up around 50,000 social media followers that I engage daily.

You're definitely right about putting an opt-in form above the fold.

I'm unsure what products to create though. We have a few products that are very good. However, I think we are failing at marketing them correctly.

Have you tried an african american targeted dating offer? They have them and they have converted for me in the past from other methods. If not there are other offers you could create, such as stuff dating people are interested in. Fitness, Fashion etc.

Are you kidding me? Seriously, any products concern relationships will sell like hotcakes especially with 30k visitors per month! If you want a guarantee way to find out what they want then you can find out from your blog posts title and sell product as an add-on to that post. It is easy to find out what product to target in your blog if you have analytic code inserted. Selling ad space is another source of income for you to cover your expenses. All the best!

Correct. I don't think google adsense drive you much income now. Your website is about dating, relationship, so you could sell them presents, travel tours, restaurant guides, ... Many thing for you to think of, let's look at some popular website that allow affiliate then start your business. I really jealous with your traffic and your email list

Content locker to some of the juicier content that you got may incentivise people to fill out those CPA forms.
Or you can promote some "love-related" products through your site with Amazon affiliates.

Income from Adsense ad banner ads is nothing compared to offering something of value to your subscribers i.e. ebooks, courses, seminars etc. that they will pay to purchase or attend.
