The answer is: Live Support Many internet marketers underestimate the power of live support and the tremendous effect it could have on your sales if you utilize it. Live support enables you to have direct contact with your potential customer which increases your chances of making a increase. You can also any questions the potential client might have and give them all the right reasons as to why they product purchase your product/service. There are many free live support systems you can use which have mobile app versions. This enables you to provide 24/7 live support for your business. The increase in conversion rate will vary from business to business but one thing that is guaranteed is that you will make more sales. Give it a try for a month and see the difference it can make for your business. |

Yes you can convert some visitors to customers using live support. But depending on your business and location your target audience may be on another time zone so you need to hire people that are good at sales and know your business. I guess you can outsource this and see if you get any traction.

This is a great method, but don't make the Chat button too pushy. After using tools like LuckyOrange or other customer monitoring tools, I experienced that many people leave the site when Chat popups are too annoying or frequent. Nonetheless it can be a helpful CR-booster, but keep it clear and small. |

It's absolutely the best way to increase conversions, but you have to treat it seriously. There's nothing great about clicking on the chat button then being told to leave a message. If I wanted to do that I'd fill out the web form! In other words don't add chat unless you are prepared to staff it round the clock. To do it properly you will need a minimum of 8 full time staff. I made a webinar about this and when I'm back on my laptop I'll edit this with the link Depending on what your website sells, there are different options for staffing the chat 24/7. The more in depth the product training, the more likely you will have to handle it in-house. But for many local services all you really need is a basic friendly receptionist. That's the niche my company targets. It's working very well for our clients - doubled conversions are average. |

Completely agree with the points made above! Live chat definitely helps increase conversion rate as your visitors have easy access to a sales rep to answer any of their questions. You definitely need to have the staff to run a live chat though. Your customers won't want to revisit your website when you have a live chat and no one is present to help them.
