I have an age restricted video on youtube which brings me a traffic of over 10,000 visitors daily. I have been sending the traffic to my website which is barely converting. Is there another logical way of monetizing this traffic and how much can it make me?

If it is targeted traffic for a specific niche it can make you lots. Do you engage with these people personally in the video (high advantage) or is it just a random age restricted one?

Hello nikitaK, It depends on the nature of the video. I assume it is either sexual or graphic in nature. You need to understand the expectations of those who visit the page. For example, it is extremely easy to get traffic using keywords like "torrent". However, usually, people who are searching for "torrent", aren't the best customers. So without knowing the video, I do not know the nature of the customer. Without knowing the nature of the customer, it is a shot in the dark to make a suggestion about how to convert. The main point you need to remember here is congruency. The site needs to be congruent with the video (or at least, with the traffic). The offer on your site needs to be congruent with the site. It is about drawing the same line three times. If your prospects are coming for one thing, find another and your website has nothing to do with the video, then it is not surprising that they do not convert. Feel free to PM with more details. Best regards, Razvan |
