Are there any consultant/coach/copywriter sales funnels that you love?

I typed "consultant sales" funnel into google and was shocked to see that the consultants that came up did not use a funnel themselves, not even an email popup.

Do you guys know of any marketing consultants or coaches that have an admirable funnel? I'm seeking some good models to learn from as per the advice of Russell Brunson in "Funnel Hacks."

To quote a friend ...

"It is amazing how most professionals don't use their own skills for themselves. Web programmers don't create complex websites as personal ones. Web designers don't create amazing presences for themselves online. Copywriters hardly ever use copy to sell themselves".

(Paraphrasing)

And I think he's right. We help people with email marketing and sales funnels but there are so few copywriters that employ this tool in their own marketing. We write VSLs and sales letters but most copywriters write a very short home page while they are creating a 30 minute VSL for their clients.

It's no conspiracy ... it's just a classic case of not seeing the forest because of the trees. I think this is true with most specialized professions. It's easy to use what we know to help others but when it comes to using the same tools for ourselves, we fail to see everything clearly.

That being said, I don't know any admirable funnel but when it comes to advertorials - Jay Abraham (the marketing genius that was afraid to fly) did a great job. So did Dan Kennedy in promoting himself.

The irony is that I've completed a course some time ago on how to get clients as a copywriter and not a single lesson was about doing the same things you're doing for others towards your own goals. If you find one, let me know, I'd actually love to see one that is not from Abraham or Kennedy or another top / world known copywriter & marketer.

Your friend,
