solid niche and good CTR but poor conversions - constructive criticism needed please

Good morning all - I could really use some help from the IM community. I wrote an e-book of advice on how to attract women on dating web sites. I'm using the assumed name of Mack Baxter as the book’s author (my real name is Dan H) and the book's title is "The Attract Her Factor" with a subtitle that describes exactly what the book is about.

I advertise on POF and am getting a very respectable CTR of between .065 - .111. (POF ad platform offers a CPM model for those who might not know that.) Anyhow, my sales and even Free Stuff opt ins are anemic! Is my site / sales page / squeeze page really that bad??

I've structured the site's sales pages and opt in page based on best practices so...I'm befuddled...and frustrated. Can you please have a look at my site and give me your thoughts on why it is under performing so badly. Is my site and copy really that bad? What the heck am I missing? Thank you in advance for any critique you can offer

I found the site URL by clicking on the topic creator's homepage link... Anyway there are other elements in play that may affect your conversion rate other than the direct copy, for example your website design could be more appealing along with the formatting of your pages....

Also I would definitely come up with a more creative Headline. Your subheadline seems okay, but it is written better than the actual Headline, and in most cases the Headline is the most important part of a salesletter. In addition optin pages are usually just a single page without any outgoing links. As such, have you ever considered having an optin page as your main landing page, then after your visitor confirms his/her email/download to your free report, to then transfer your visitor to your main salesletter?

Not only that but perhaps you should change your marketing approach as well. POF is a free site, so I would think that most users using that service are not going to be willing to pay much for online dating tips. Have you considered lowering the price of your ebook in order to see if conversions were higher after doing so? Also, what about advertising your site through other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest as well?.

Last but not least I would also look into adding testimonials to your salesletter as well as to elaborate on a few of the points that you have listed in your salesletter (for e.g. you mention that a customer's purchase comes equipped with bonus material, but you do not leave any information as to what these bonus downloads are)

The culprit here is your traffic source. Why don't you try Adwords or Bing Ads instead. You can also promote your site with SEO using keywords that will attract people that might be interested in ebooks on that topic. Clickbank can also increase your sales as you'll be getting help from several or many affiliates depending on the popularity of your ebook and your commission rate.

I agree with SEO Power. Chances are if they are on a free dating site and not getting results; it is pretty casual anyways. They are not vested and don't want to be.

Get to an affiliate market place quick. This will be your best bet. You will have many affiliates syndicating your content. Even if you give them 75% commisions. That 25% will be something you didn't have before, and it is all digital content anyways. A man is not an island.
