Hello everyone,

I've setup some basic wordpress landing pages, I've had one conversion so far. I was just wondering what else I could improve on, or if you guys have any suggestions. Thank you guys so much.

Hi Rainb0y,

While there is nothing wrong with testing out your "move for free" value proposition, I think you really need to test that against other value propositions to see which your audience will respond to the best.

I am of the opinion that someone interested in having their home listed is not yet concerned with moving costs, they are more likely concerned with finding an agent or broker that will market their home effectively. That's just my opinion and when it comes to marketing I try to ignore my own opinion, as well as the opinions of others, in favor of test data. Why guess when you can test?

Ideally you should make a list of every value proposition you can think of and test the most likely candidates by creating multiple versions of your landing page and using an A/B split test tool to gather data.

Another shortcut is to launch an AdWords search campaign, targeting extremely relevant keywords, to test variations of value propositions within your ad text. The value propositions that get the most clicks will often be the value propositions that resonate best with your targeted audience. Let that data guide you to write headlines and CTAs for your landing page test where you confirm which variants will convert best.

As always, the best answer comes from testing, testing, and testing again.

You need a catchy pulling headline that sparks an emotion in people.

Its all about WIFM, ( Whats in it for me). Also have your headline above the video and keep the video size slightly smaller. Add some bullet benefits as well and you will see your conversions go up.

Hope that helps

I think some valid points have already been made. I do think that for the most part the information is there... just not pointed enough. yes, your show has 15,000 viewers every episode... but are they viewers, or are they buyers?

I would get some text above the video. at least "List With Me and Move For Free!" and then possibly a by line "watch the video for more details.

I would say that your contact form is not defined enough. On my browser it is not showing the standard input box display just a single line across the bottom of each input area. why not make it super easy and put your phone number on there as well?

I might also suggest moving the contact form to the right and the text to the left.

you have only gotten 1 conversion... but that is only half the story. How many people have gone to the page? if only 3 then your conversion rate is killer... if 10,000 then you really need some work! ha ha

Jay, the bait/bribe you are putting out isn't strong enough,
PLUS, your page is too cluttered making the reader work
to hard, therefore abandon.

What's working now to capture leads are offers for
free or low cost tools to make life easier and faster
when they are trying to achieve an outcome.

So to do this all,
have an opt-in page,
ideally use the templates
from LeadPages.

Next is Google tools to sell your home and infographic.

Find the best one which also has a code which you can copy onto your website.

Tools are working so well as bait to capture leads
because they are easily understood, you are helping them
move through their sales process faster with low risk.

Happy lead generation!

Ewen

You need testimonials, testimonials and some more testimonials..That's what I find to convert the best.. People want to see proven results..

If you are just starting and don't have many reviews, try to post your offer in " Warriors looking to hire you " section. I'm sure you'll find someone interested in testing your service and leaving you an honest review.

Hi, my first advice: Embed that video not from youtube. Self host it or put it on a pro vimeo account. The ads, while playing the video and the others videos at the end of your video are not professional and can people make click away. Try to get another background image, that one currently used says: nothing.
Together with another bg image u can test other colors for the button for example. Red ist for attention - of course - but it also means danger, hate anger.
Dont know if you need all that fields with name and phone number. The more u ask for the more people will run away. People see inmediately that is is a "take" site (that takes the data), but they prefer a give site. (that gives something valuable to them in return to their data). Sorry my english is not perfect but i think you know what i mean. You need to test, test, test
Saludos and good luck.

Also your option forms are just white spaces, maybe add a border around it so people know you can type into it.

You need to get the description & submit button call to action above the fold.

Remove the two exits from the video (Adsense ads, watch video on Youtube button in video player). If you create exits on your page, traffic will leave via the exits/links.

A professionally built website that properly promotes your product/service. Engaging blog content.

The site needs a full overhaul, load time is horrendous. Have no clue what type of marketing you are doing so cannot give the best advice.

This. Pretty simple actually

Big fat letters

"Thinking of selling your home? Put it in front of 15,000 interested buyers"

That'll get people's attention.

Also, stick the opt-in form above the fold so that it is visible without scrolling.

And yeah, you need a lot more testimonials.

Also, as others have said, I'm not sure if your value proposition is really that important to people thinking about selling their home. Try testing other ones.
