the one that gets a higher optin conversion. this is direct response marketing.... opinions don't matter.... testing results do. split test both and see which has the higher conversion. |

| Definitely agree with Davemiz. It doesn't matter what looks better to the eye or what people think is better. You should test both and stick with whichever one converts the best. Testing is the only way to know.

Red is most likely going to win! Even to me, the red stood out more and got my attention.

Most of the time red will win, however, still you need to test it. Remove the background image, it looks really outdated. Does a signature just below the headline improve response? I've not tested that, wondering if it's worth testing..... |

I would rather read the second one any day. Regardless of how much attention the red attracts you need the headline to pull it in. Also one thing that people don't seem to think about anymore is headline pointing, for example: This is my super brilliant, clever, ----and amazingly awesome ------converting headline [----------Content------------] Notice how the headline actually points you to the content? Of course you'll still need a good headline, but this strategy works and I use it commonly to bring their attention from the headline to the content. |

$531.65 in 20 days? You're going to need a bigger promise to get this market interested. |
| Thought About Offline Consulting? Fiona - $5,500 + $600/m 1st Week... Anthony - $7k + $594/m... Liz - $12k 1st Month... Rob - $7k + $800/ 1st Month... Scott - $45,000 in 3m... 20/yo Jock 6-Figure Client 2nd Month Don't you deserve the same unfair advantage? | |

I think the Red is much better, but think the font is wrong. Perhaps use the IMPACT font or VERDANA. What about adding testimonials from people who've used your programme or actually benefited from what you offer. People are very sceptical of the author's claims these days and want additional social proof form others who have done it - THAT IS WAY MORE POWERFUL. Hope that helps. (But you know the old adage - Test. Test. Test.) Regards Fraser |

the comments are hysterical..... this is direct response marketing. You guys know better than actual testing results? cmon, get real. all the opinions don't mean jack. (sorry, but its true) and red doesn't always win... thats a very incorrect statement to make. you MUST test. PERIOD. |

i like the 500 in 20 days promise, there are too many make a thousand in a day promise sites, keep it realistic. I dont know anything about split testing or the other hoops you guys have to jump through, but: -ecover is cheap looking, remove it, use a generic map/google image or get a new cover -highlight the audio buttons -after sign up, the big green button, tell people what it's for -privacy policy needed -if you have to have a page background, use a watermarked map |
| ================================ I am taking on only ecover design work for the next 90 days. Rates are 47.00 for single cover, discounts for multiple..just ask! No payment until completed. http://www.d27portfolio.com for sample works | |

That's what I was wondering. Why ask people which they prefer instead of actual testing from your target market? If you're going to ask someone (and take their response seriously) I would at least ask someone who has deep experience with it. Results are the only thing that matters. |

Hi, Agreed! The only thing that counts are the results, not opinions. And the only way to find out is to split-test the 2 squeeze pages. However, here is something I would do: 1. Use a sub-heading for the list of what prospects will get or learn. For example [Sub-heading] Here Is What's Included In This Ecourse . The EXACT keywords, ads, and crazy-converting landing ... . How to tap into ultra-profitable ... . . . 2. Make sure to use tick marks or bullet points for the list of what prospects will get or learn. 3. Add a call to action above the opt-in form. ie To Get Free Access To My Google Adwords Campaign And My Adwords Success Roadmap, Fill in Your Name And Email Address Below [Opt-in Form] Notice I didn't say one squeeze page was better than the other. Regards |
