Hi everyone, Am writing an article about copywriting secrets. Please critique my title. I also don't like "impressive". I think "now" and "to use" might even be redundant, really? Clearly they're to use ... Isn't just "Four easy, new copywriting secrets" a little snappier? |

I guess I am used to seeing 3, 5 or 10. If it were me I might add one more tip and then say something like: 5 cash pulling copy secrets you can put to use in the next 5 minutes 5 devastating copywriting secrets you'd be a fool not to read Don't cry when your copy fails - read these 5 tips and prosper 5 minutes, 5 copywriting secrets, 5 more leads the easy way Suck in cash like a vacuum with these 5 simple copywriting tips Instantly improve your sales with these 5 powerful copywriting secrets Wordplay - 5 secrets to more effective sales writing - right now 5 copywriting secrets that doubled my conversions almost instantly Think you know? Think again, 5 must have copywriting secrets of the pros I guess you are targeting copywriters? The reason I am asking is because many people don't know what copywriting is. Just out of curiosity, one day I went around asking people to tell me if they knew what copywriting was. Out of the 15 or 20 people I asked, most had no idea. Many thought it had something to do with legal or notary services. Good luck, thanks for that delicious virtual chocolate chip cookie. |

I think that "easy" and "impressive" doesn't go well with "secrets". As far as numbers, I like 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12

I actually did a little survey on Ask500People several months back to see how many people knew what a copywriter was and wasn't. Here's the results: ![]() Small number of results overall but interesting nonetheless. |

Hi, Susan. I concur with the comments from both Doug and activetrader about having a greater number of points in your article, such as 5, 7 or 10. Brian, your three title suggestions are great!
