Need cost of writing a sales page

Hi,
As I am busy doing my first product of my own and this is new to me I need an estimate on the cost for writing sales page. Can I get an guidance of what to expect to pay and how long the sales page will be/should be.
Help and guidance will be much appreciated

It looks like no one will ever read the stickies unless someone points them out 4000 times.

Time number 1 ... "Hey... imdude... do a little search in this forum, or look at the stickies... or just take a gander at just the first couple pages of posts. You'll see your question answered in so much detail it will make your head spin."

The short answer... there is a wide range of prices and talent and there is no set length.

My short reply - I am the client here and don't have time to potter around the forum that is why I asked the question. BTW the first post is FREE SEX - should I ask that guy to give me some prices.

Update - I just checked the first page of this forum and to be honest as I have no interest in wanting to have to learn copywrite but to have it done for me and not learn as most of the post concern those in the business that is why I want to outsource. If this is the wrong place to ask for these services then please guide me in the right direction MontelloMarketing. I do web design and when a possible client approaches me for website to be designed I will send him to google.com next time

Prices range from $50 to $100,000 plus royalties depending on how skilled and experienced the copywriter is. The more experienced, the more likely to write a sales letter that makes you serious amounts of money.

It's not how many pages for the sales letter... it's the copywriter using as many as neccessary to sell your product in the best possible way. The only time page count matters is if you're doing a direct mail and worried about postage costs.

I did say I am new hear and requiring a service and not a lecture but I will turn a blind eye on these kinda responses to my request and not sure if I am allowed to say this hear but would appreciate response to be in line with my thread

1) Mike thank you for your positive response to my request an I have noted and bookmarked you links in your signiture
2) CDarklock I actaully started a thread here as I require this kinda service and there is a time for fun and jokes and this is not the time and the place and I didnt need any sarcasme here.
3) From the PM's I received and also just spoken to the person that does writing for me as I didnt know he does copywriting he will be sending me some examples.

Is there a way to close this thread as I am really not interested in these NEG kind of remarks as this was not my intention of this thread and I am a bit dissapointed at the 2 neg. I have also found 3 possible people I would like to outsource some work to so no need for this thread be open anymore.

Notice that thanks. well at least this way you can sift the the dedicated to the ones not taking there work serious. To me WF is a wonderful place of opportunity but seems some can spoil it for themselves.

I charge $50 for a 500 word sales page... I charge $10 for every 100 word thereafter.

It might be best to search for a copywriter, on the forum, who you resonate with and contact him or her for their rates. Just an idea. Good luck!
