Hi

A few weeks ago I posted a thread asking for a critique of some web copy.

So many of you gave me some really solid ideas and gave a huge amount of useful criticism.

I implemented your ideas and suggestions and I have seen a real upturn in people contacting us from the site, to soon to say how sales will be affected, but I feel good about it, thank you.

One of your suggestions included the idea that I should drasticly increase the cost of the mentoring service that I offer. At present I ask only £10.00 (about $16.50) for a three month subscription.

The reasons given for this idea were that people are put off by cheap offers, and that the service if serious she be more expensive.

This nominal fee was to deter what someone called "the tire kickers" and it worked I have helped out dozens of people (a lot for my micro niche) since I started offering mentoring.

It was suggested that I increase the cost of this subscription to £50.00 (about $82.00)

I humbly ask if someone might comment on the content of my mentoring page.

Thank you for your help in the past...I acted on it, and your advice shows results.

Hey Richard,

A few thoughts.
  • What are the benefits for the buyer? You don't really talk about that at all.
  • What, specifically, is involved in the mentoring process?
  • How will the buyers life be different because they've taken your mentor course?
  • If you're serious about the email list, get an autoresponder. It makes EVERYTHING so much easier - and powerful.
  • You've got to have a good headline. "Mentoring." just doesn't cut it. Grab the attention of your reader and hog tie them with benefit ridden copy until you make your offer.
  • If you have any testimonials for the mentoring, absolutely put them in the copy.

I hope this helps.
