Default Attention:Copy Writter->Top Headline Book Ever?!

Hi I am a newbie and thinking learn writing magic headlines that attract alot of people, I mean really ALOT!

I have been doing my research and I know David Garfinkel and Ted Nicholas is quite good in headlines, but I just not sure which one to pick? Any advice?

1) Advertising Headlines That Make You Rich: Create Winning Ads, Web Pages, Sales Letters and More - David Garfinkel
2) Magic words that make you rich - Ted Nicholas
3) or other book you would recommend to me

**Cause I am currently not in US, it is hard for me to get physical book, I will be great if you can recommend books that sell online - Ebooks.

Mavi,

Just pick one. They're both phenomenal writers and teachers. It's like asking which basketball to use, the red one or the orange one. It makes no difference in the playing field, it's just a matter of preference of which one you want to use. Good luck.

And if you want to look at other books, look at the sticky in here. There are tons of them.

If you haven't read "Tested Advertising Methods" and "How To Write
A Good Advertisement" you are missing two key texts on copy
and headlines.

The deepest treatment of headline development I have read is
in "Breakthrough Advertising", which is hard to get and pricey.

In India you can get Clyde Bedell's book on advertising, and while
it's seldom mentioned today as a source text it's a book you can
learn a great deal from. In the USA it's published as "How To Write
Advertising That Sells", but in India it's something else.

Most ebooks I have read on advertising are not up to the standard
of the printed books. Of course there are some bad books in print
as well, but if you read and re-read the advertising classics you
should develop skill and insight well enough and be able to apply
what you've learned to online advertising.

There is quite a craft to writing effective headlines. Brian Keith
Voyle's "Advertising Magic" is quite good on the topic of how
to develop them, though as a swipe file (if that's what you are
looking for) it's not impressive.

Great Headlines Instantly by Robert Boduch talks solely about writing headlines. It's available in both physical and digital version.

I bought David Garfinkle's book online via Amazon, if you're outside the US it does take a while to ship, but it's been a cracking investment.

I just received my copy of the Breakthrough Advertising, woo-hoo! Can't wait to dig into it throughout the week next week. Busy, busy, busy! If it's as good as people say, I hope all of you have already bought a copy.
