Hi Mods,
I find it so strange that the copywriting section should have twice as many stickies as the main section of the WF. I think some of the stickies can be combined into one, like the one about saying please and what to do before asking for a critique. I think something need to be worked out to reduce the numbers. -Ray Edwards |

I completely agree with you Ray, it's like sticking your foot into a wellington boot here rather than slipping your feet into a high quality pair of shoes.
Four of those threads could very easily become just one. |

I have absolutely nothing of value to add, I just wanted to say that I do agree - we shouldn't have to scroll down that far just to see new threads. I appreciate the sentiment behind each one, I really do, but they could probably be paired down at least a little bit.

Hehe - I thought of saying that, but salesman can be very mean when provoked

This reminds me of an advice I often read in practically all copywriting books/tutorials, "E^2 = 0. Emphasize everything, and you emphasize nothing." How funny it is to find such a situation in the copywriting forum.
I agree. There are more stickies than would be necessary. As Raydal suggested in his post, some stickies can be combined into one. This would at least pave the way for future useful stickies (if any ) without cluttering the forum.Regards, Revolves |

I completely agree.
I e-mailed the helpdesk about this, wondering if it can be changed, even on my end (i.e. if I can disable stickies). I just had a one-line reply essentially saying: "You can't do anything on your end. You just have to scroll down..." Hence I assume they have no plans to change it unfortunately. Edit: Glad I and the helpdesk guy were wrong. Thanks for the changes KenStrong. |

OK, I "un-stickied" a few of the threads, so it's at least somewhat better now...
