Hey Everyone, I'm looking to vastly improve my copywriting skills and find the blind spots in my copy. I know that getting a mentor would be in my best interest. So I searched around the internet and found some interesting offers. However, I want to see if there was anybody here that provides copywriting mentoring. Do you know of someone? I appreciate the help |

Sam, I do personal one on one. In fact my students are many of the new crop of 6 figure copywriters out there today... Kevin Rogers Matt O'Connor David Raybould To name just a few... If you need any details on what it's about, just drop one of them an email or pm. |

Sam, While I'm often asked about teaching "how to write copy", Vin Montello and Ray L. Edwards are the two "teach copywriting" mentors that I frequently refer people to instead. At this point of my career, I enjoy teaching the other facets of being a successful copywriter (marketing and salesmanship skills) more than the mechanics of writing copy. If you have existing copywriting skills and want to hone your marketing chops so you can ramp up to being a full-time copywriter quickly, then that's my area of expertise. I do email coaching for a limited number of students and have several info-products for copywriters to learn how to market their services much better. Hope that helps, Mike |

Hey Sam, I can tell you, from personal experience, that both Mike and Raydal are very good teachers. As for you reviewing their offers and picking one of them, I believe the final choice actually rests with them. ![]() Take care, Dean. { |

You have a couple of options for Warrior mentors as has already been mentioned. Anything else I say can be held against me in the Warrior court of law so I'll stay there. ![]() -Ray Edwards |

Hi Sam, You'd be crazy not to take Vin up on his offer. He's one of the hottest writers around and his copy is hypnotic. Don't believe me? Try staring at the pic on his profile page. ![]() Tom |

Sam, Mentoring can work wonders - the 'trick' is to find someone you are 'tune with' and respect because they 'walk the talk'. One way to find your mentor is to frequent forums like this one for a while and check out who (amongst the established CW 'names') is contributing and helping. You can tell a lot about a potential mentor by how they behave online. Of course, this is not 100% foolproof but it will give you something to go on. I had the (paying) privilege of being in Jay White's email copy program earlier this year and that was well worth the money IMO. And just this evening I signed up for another Warrior's group coaching program at an incredible price. In fact he's one of those posting on this thread but forum decorum prevents me from revealing his name ;-) Still, three cheers for my new CW mentor: Hip-Hip HurRAY! Hip-Hip HurRAY! Hip-Hip HurRAY! OK, gotta go. Can't dilly DALly here all day... |

Sam, When you come into mentoring willing to subjugate your ego and work your tush off... good things can happen. And if your mentor knows copywriting inside out... the writing and the business side... if he's always responsive to requests for advice or critiques... then it's hard to go wrong. Vin Montello has been that guy for me. The investment can seem big at the time, but every day that passes it's value increases and the initial outlay seems increasingly puny. |
