Anyone Bought Yanik's Instant Sales Letters?

Hi, just wondering did anyone bought or uses Yanik's Instant Sales Letters though it's not a new product? Or should I just go read some of those recommended copy writing books in the sticky section? Thanks.

Yanik's letters are pretty good as templates if you don't have
a clue about how to structure a letter.

None of them however, have a special "hook" that will sell
your product in a competitive market. Developing such a
hook is a creative and demanding aspect of writing copy -
hard work.

I'd recommend you spend your money on the copywriting
classics first. Yanik's letters are basically a generic
"swipe file".

Thanks for sharing Scott Murdaugh & Loren Woirhaye! Sorry didn't know how to thank you all using the forum tools, did a search via the FAQ but didn't find anything relevant.

Agreed with what you all were sharing, if copy writing is that simple, the ad industry would have died long time ago. That's why when I see certain headlines & sales letters, some are able to captured my attention right away whereas they are some one would just pass and give it a miss. There's really lots of things for me to learn. I will go through the sticky on recommended copy writing books and choose some for reading.

What I feel is that after doing some good research on the net we can write our own sales letter. It would take some time to make some research but aferall we will save some money and also gain knowledge as how to write a sales letter.

I don't have this, but I have Simple Sales copy and it's helped me alot.

To be fair, that would encompass about 90%+ of copywriting infoproducts.

Yanik's a great guy and puts out some good stuff.

Yanik is a great guy and his products are always great quality and he is of course known for over-delivering. Instant sales letters is a great product especially for the price! As great as any product is however, you must add your own touch and the product wont make you a dime...its a weapon that YOU must use.

In the end, its a great copywriting product...of course not as great as hiring a professional copywriter who can research the specific prospect base and tailor copy around it.

Yeah, I used it years ago. Of course, Yanik's stuff is very helpful. As a matter of fact, it is sitting on my hard drive now. However if you are just starting out there are some good templates in there.

Hi Mate,

I purchased them about 3 years ago and used
one of the letters in a direct mail campaign for
one of my businesses introducing a new service
that I was offering.

I added my details to the letter and got a consistent
14% conversion rate each time I mailed it.

They work right out of the box.
