| [[UPDATE]] ALL 5 SPOTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN. Thanks everyone! Thanks for your time warriors. I'm a long time reader of the forum, however I have not been participating until recently. I'm a professional copywriter and I'm here to offer my services for FREE to the first 5 people that send me a PM asking for them. Why am I doing this and why is it FREE? My native tongue is Spanish and all my clients need spanish sales letters. However I want to start using my talents to expand my business writing sales letters in English. What do I ask in return? Feedback and testimonials. Nothing more. Before you rush to send me a PM, take 15 seconds to learn a bit about what you get: I hold a Master Degree in Direct Marketing and Online Commerce I'm a certified international journalist. Above all I'm a sales person. Only that I do it in Spanish all the time ![]() Thanks again for your time, warriors. P.S: I did not use this post as a sales letter. I'm just trying to have a conversation with my fellow warriors. |

Met - I love the idea but I have had bad luck in the past. On two occasions I have been approached to write a free sales letter in exchange for a testimonial. I am still waiting on those letters years afterward. Why? Because you get into it and see how much work it is and think "screw this". Also the clients are a pain because there is no investment. You'd be better off running a cheap WSO than doing it for free in my opinion. Tim |

I'd be willing to give it a shot, and even a critique along with the testimonial - I think I have something you can work on ![]() Shoot me a PM if you're interested. |

If you have the time to write FREE sales letters you should write them for your own products. If you don't have one, go to clickbank or just make one up. Then when you have a couple sales letters you can offer to write for someone at a low cost to get started, and you'll have some samples to show. Some clients will only give you ONE shot. So if you screw something up, or just cant finish it (which can very likely be the case since your not getting paid) you can damage your reputation. Write some letters for YOUR products on YOUR time. That way you know how long it will take you to finish a letter. NO one is going to pump out a decent sales letter their first time around. Especially their first time writing one in English. Faborito, I am a copywriter myself, but I do have one product that desperately needs a new sales page. I've used it as a test-bed for various things but never really taken the effort to write a kick-ass salesletter, as the product is very much a hobby. I've spent a lot more time on the product than marketing etc. The current salesletter is so bad it's embarrassing but right now I'm too busy to (ever) get round to updating it. It sells regularly but it's pathetic and could do so much more. What interests me more though is the idea of being able to offer my international clients a Spanish version of their salesletter... ![]() So if you can do a good job of this I won't just give you a testimonial, I could probably give you clients. I can't guarantee it it but it's certainly something I could push as an option - and easy peasy for you to just re-word my stuff in Spanish, right? So what's needed is some kind of proof you're a copywriter in Spanish. Got website? Anything? I don't just want a translator, I want a translating copywriter. Your PM box is full, contact me at the site below. Alan Carr www.copywriter-ac.com |

I can agree with you. However this is a good experiment for me. I'm confident that the 4 people (only one spot left) that will receive a sales letter from me won't be disappointed. Maybe the fact that I'm translating them from spanish to english might be an issue, I think overall they would get a good product. Only conversion rates will tell. I'm having fun and I hope this turns out to be a good experience for everyone ![]() F. | |
