Default I had Dinner With Joe Sugarman!

Hey Guys,

The Marketing business is a RELATIONSHIP
business

If you want to advance your career you
MUST Attend Live Events

People do business with people they
like and Trust

I went to Micheal Penland's Event in
Orlando yesterday .. going back Sunday

I sat down next to Ross Goldberg

I had dinner with Legendary copywriter
Joseph Sugarman (of Blu Blocker fame)

to me hes just "Joe"

Matt Bacak, Frank Garon and several
other "Marquee Name" Marketers were
at our table

I sang Karaoke with Willie Crawford

I even sung a Duet with Michael Penland's
lovely Wife (we did the Elton John and Kiki
Dee thing)

I also made friends with a lot of Up
and Coming marketers

I had a blast and met some great people

If you want to make the connections that
can bring your business to the next level you
NEED to get away from your damn computer
and get to a Live Event

But heres the key thing ...

DO NOT look at someone as a "JV"

look at them as a person

the rest will come

Jack Bastide

Hi Jack,

You say very well. It counts a lot really who you know in person. On the events like this truth participation entails the acquisition of many useful experiences.

It is not allowed to rush from one with door into the house, because if it happens to you away, you never attain your aim, the doors close before you.

And yet a more thing, if you want to win somebody from a some kind of aim, you have to give something of yourself first then, the the person finds the manner of the fact that he reciprocates this then next.

The enthusiasm radiates quasi from your words, congratulate. Your reader's mood attacks a part likewise after these to have bought the nearly on a such event.

Well done.

Many successes,

Sandor

I just finished reading Joe Sugarman's copywriting handbook (it was great). It would have been awesome to break bread with the man!

I've never attended an IM event before but I've been hearing from a lot of folks (like yourself) about the pure networking windfall from these events so I'll be attending an event in 2009. I just never wanted to pay for a seminar what would be a pitch fest. But it appears that focusing on networking and skipping the sales pitches on stage is worth the price of admission. :-)

Right on Jack, Sugarman's a legend.

I'm meeting Donald Trump later in the year

Thought About Offline Consulting?

The power of networking can work wonders. Nice to see you've meet some decent individuals. Any money made with these people yet? Anything in the works?

And good luck meeting Trump, Kyle.. I've seen him before... But I've also worked for the Trump Organization... He's definitely a good businessman and a successful entrepreneur...

Joe is a friend of mine here on Maui. He stopped by the studio to do an interview for the Recognized Expert Marketing Show on Sales Copy That Sells and I think you will really enjoy listening to what he has to say.

Here's the link to the show. Note: This is a premium show, so if you want to listen to it, you will need to sign-up on the site. It's free to join, but this is the only way you will have access to Joe's program.

Learn how to drive qualified traffic to your website at Recognized Expert.com

Sugarman is an AWESOME marketer - a real legend!...Years ago I used to stop by his office in Northbrook IL when he operated JS&A Sales. I'll have to listen to that audio interview.
