Copywriting for financial sector

Hi

I am interested in copywriting focussed on financial sector

I was wondering how it is different from other sectors? Bigger companies looking for more experience?

Also, do you think it would be possible to focus on a niche like magalogs for financial companies?

Who are the experts in this field?

If so, I seem to remember that copywriting.com had a dedicated "financial copy" course.

I don't own it and therefore can't vouch for it.

I don't know if companies require more experience necessarily... but I do know that the financial market is constantly under the microscope and you have to be extremely careful with what you write...

That said, I'm sure it's possible for you to specialize. Many copywriters do. You'll just have to carve out a niche for yourself.

I write exclusively for the financial market. It's hard and getting harder! But that just means more opportunity for those who can shift a product.

The big publishers (or at least the one I work for) don't care about experience, but rather if you can sell or not. If you show you've got potential, you'll get trained up on everything else.

Of course the more experience you do have, the more chance you have of getting your foot in the door and being a success.

You find magalogs a lot in health, but not so much in financial.
