Just bought Makepeace's Quickstart Copywriting. Can't wait to dig in!

Well, I've made what I consider to me my first big jump in educating myself within the art of copywriting.

I'm more of a hands-on, do-as-you-go type and I hope that my learning style will suit working with this course. I know that it's best to just dig in and "do", but I'm the type that feels much more comfortable with a plan. Like I said to a reply to me in another thread, "you've got to know how to aim the gun before you can hit your target".

Just wanted to drop in and also say "thanks" for those that made posts in the thread regarding Makepeace vs. Carlton. It was a decent part of my decision process.

Great, love to hear there is another Clayton Makepeace Copy Cub out there.

Be sure to signup and follow his blog, that is a super education and he has top article writers that contribute new copy techniques every week.

Clayton's Desktop Copy Coach and the Summit DVDs is what got me ramped up with my copy skills, I love how he writes, so emotionally it makes you chomp at the bit to learn to write like him... Oh we all wish!

Hey, Jennie. Thanks for your reply. As far as his blog, I'm already ahead of you on that one. I've also signed up for a few others as well. I haven't heard of his Desktop Copy Coach, but perhaps after I've spent a sufficient amount of time with Quick Start, I'll have to check it out.

His summit package looks pretty impressive (with a price tag to mactch...ouch!). I should have picked it up when I noticed it elsewhere for a whole lot cheaper. I was a bit unsure at the time, however. Oh well.

Yeah, I took notice of that since I last posted this. After seeing what was actually in that course, it became pretty evident.
