Default I Wnt to Use Other People's Case Studies in my Sales Letter.

What is the best way to use case studies of other people? Should I contact them and ask them about it? Or should I use it immediately and cite their websites?

The answer depends on what you mean by "use."

You can paraphrase their data and link to the source without permission. It's the same as if you were referring to a study reported in a book or newspaper.

If you want to quote the whole thing verbatim, you must have permission.

You can state the facts about other case studies. Many salesletters do this.

But as mentioned above, always state the source of the information on your site. That way you shouldn't run into any issues.

I would contact them. They would probably be able to make the case studies sound better than you could if you were just reading them off their site anyway.

Ok guys, what is the best way to mention the source of the info. Is citing their name enough? Or should I mention their link in my sales letter?
